Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the automatic switching of circuits with a simple constitution when the voice multiplex TV signal is reproduced, by superposing the pilot signals on different voice tracks along with the voice signal in accordance with each voice multiplex mode for recording. CONSTITUTION:The voice multiplex TV signal receives the wave detection through a wave detecting circuit 3, and the video signal is recorded on a tape T by a rotary magnetic head 6 via a recording circuit 4. While, the signal received the wave detection through an FM wave detecting circuit 12 is applied to a matrix circuit 18 after the subchannel voice signal SS is extracted via a BPF14, an FM wave detecting circuit 15, etc. as soon as the main channel voice signal SM is extracted via an LPF13. At the same time, the control signal that passes the BPF19, 21, 22, etc. and in accordance with the stereo mode, the voice multiplex mode, etc. is applied to the circuit 18. Then the pilot signal in accordance with the voice multiplex mode is superposed on the voice signal to be recorded on two sets of different voice tracks via the circuit 18. As a result, the switching of circuits is automatically carried out in accordance with the multiplex mode based on the pilot signal in the reproduction mode.

SOLUTION: When a remote command transmitter 2 or the like is used to make display command of an electronic program guide, a microcomputer (μcon) 13 selects a 2nd switch SW2 to the position of a VTR, then the electronic program guide data decoded by the μcon 13 are sent to a television receiver 23 via the SW2. Simultaneously the μcon 13 sends a remote command code to select a channel to a light emitting section 22 to select a channel of the television receiver 23. Thus, the electronic program guide is displayed on the television receiver 23.

During this time, the index information in recorded information is read out, and data such as, for instance, the date, time and chapter, etc., is supplied via a display circuit 19 to a television monitor 20 to be displayed by an index decoder 22 at the time of operating an operating panel 23. Consequently, whether a magnetic tape 2 is recorded with the index information or not can instantly be discriminated, while the whole information can be confirmed, and hence the operation convenience is improved.

The two multiplied outputs are then supplied to the third multiplier 37, and then to a three-value comparator 39 through a low pass filter 38 to form the control signal corresponding to the level of the multiplied output. This permits the fluctuation of regenerative control signal CP against the fluctuation of time base of the pilot signals Pb and Pc by jitter. Therefore, this removes the affection by jitter on the multiplying process for the phase detection, and the pilot signal can be detected correctly against jitter.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the control of reproduction in accordance with the multiplex mode with a simple constitution, by superposing the pilot signals of different frequencies for recording along with the voice signal of the voice multiplex TV signal in accordance with the multiplex mode. The the voice multiplex mode is detected by a BPF19, narrow band BPF21, 22, etc., and a changeover switch 34 is controlled via a switch signal producing circuit 23 to select the signals of different frequencies in accordance with the voice multiplex mode. The selected signal is mixed with the signal SS, etc. by a mixer/synthesizer 25 and superposed on the voice signal on a voice track of one side of a magnetic tape T in the form of a pilot signal. In the reproduction mode, the reproduced voice signal is controlled by the reproduced pilot signal. In such way, the control of reproduction is possible with a simple constitution in accordance with the multiplex mode.
