Date Nov. 29, 1990.A dust-proof headgear which, although having a simple construction, exhibits an excellent dust-proof performance to thereby remarkably reduce a scattering of hair, dandruff and dust from the wearer's head, while exhibiting a high air-permeability to thus eliminate any feeling of sultryness or stuffyness even when worn for a long time. The dust-proof headgear is made of a material having, as a major component thereof, an electret non-woven fabric having a surface electrostatic charge density of 1x10-10 Coulomb/cm2 or greater and an air-permeability of between 10 cc/cm2.sec and 1000 cc/cm2.sec. The headgear of the invention is highly effective for use in various fields of industry in which environmental contamination by contaminants from the heads of workers or habitants is strictly forbidden, e.g., the foodstuff industry, electronic industry, precision machining industry, and medical industry.

Abstract:
The specification discloses a thermal stencil paper for mimeograph, having a uniform shape of pores and well-balanced retainability and permeability of printing ink. Thermal stencil paper for mimeograph formed by laminating a porous support member comprising polyester fibers on one surface of a polyester film, characterized in that the porous support member forms a reticulate body having a fusing point at which the fibers are fused to one another, a film which straddles the fibers, and which has a thickness smaller than an average fiber diameter, being formed at some of the fusing points in the reticulate body. Since such thermal stencil paper for mimeograph is provided, the printed matter obtained by a mimeograph using this stencil paper has a high quality of image, and set-off does not occur. Such printed matter is highly convenient to transport.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent antimicrobial properties and the outstanding performance of an electret, characteristic of high charge stability. SOLUTION: An antimicrobial electret material is a synthesized organic polymer with a volume resistivity of 10 Ω.cm or more, containing a heat stabilizer and an arsenic compound with a phenoxy group. In addition, the surface charge density of this polymer is 1×10 coulomb/cm or more. Further, the filter has at least, a part of a filter medium formed of the antimicrobial electret material.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a nonwoven fabric and filter medium provided with excellent foldability and high rigidity, and a producing method. CONSTITUTION: In the nonwoven fabric, at least 50% of total number of the fiber is a fiber bundle made by joining a plurality of a single fiber composed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin into a bundle and the fiber bundle is substantially oriented in one direction. The filter medium is made by combining the nonwoven fabric with an air permeable fiber sheet. In the producing method, the thermoplastic synthetic resin is jetted at 0.5g/hole.min discharge rate from a mouth ring having a spinning hole group oriented in

PURPOSE:To provide a melt-blown non-woven fabric comprising ECTFE resin excellent in mechanical characteristics, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION:A melt-blown non-woven fabric having a strength of >=150g/5cm per a basis weight of 100g/m and a breaking elongation of >=1% and comprising a non-woven fabric composed of fibers which have a fiber diameter of /h) of the compressed gas, when a suction mechanism 4 is not disposed on the collection conveyer 2, and with the blowing volume x (Nm /h) and the suction gas velocity v (m/sec) of the compressed gas, when the suction mechanism 4 is disposed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an electret material having strong electric action on the outside and stable electric charge for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:An electret material comprises positive and negative charges divided into a sea and an island regions on the surface wherein the whole area ratio of island region of positive or negative electric charge on the surface is 25-60%, the whole area ratio of sea region of the opposite electric charge on the back is 40-95% and the polarity of both the surface and the back is opposite polarity on the whole.
