Abstract:
System to assist a person in walking, consisting of an exoskeleton to be fitted to the person comprising a plurality of articulated structures for the flexion of the lower extremities and a plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors measures the flexion performed in the joints of the upper extremities and applies a movement that is transmitted to the lower extremities by the articulated structures depending on the measured flexion. Advantageously, the movement is generated by the individual himself or herself as he or she walks and does not require being pre-programmed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to an extension bed device (1, 2, 36) for decompression of the spinal column (30) and/or for decompression of articulation joints of a patient (3), having a bed region (4) and having a drive system (5), wherein the bed region (4) has a plurality of segments (6), wherein the patient (3) can be arranged on the bed region (4), wherein at least one of the segments (6) can be moved by means of the drive system (5) in such a way that for decompression traction and counter-traction can be exerted on the patient (3). The effectiveness of the decompression is improved, the range of options is extended and the application of the method is more pleasant and more effective for the patient because the segments (6) have a plurality of rising support elements (7), wherein the patient (3) can be supported at least partially by the support elements (7), wherein the support elements (7) can be disposed at different heights in such a way that the arrangement of the support elements (7) can be adapted to the contour of the patient (3) in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, such that the patient (3) is held in an imprint formed by means of the support elements (7).
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a hydraulic massage apparatus advantageous in that excessive sagging of a flexible sheet is prevented without compromising a desired massage effect. [Solution] In a fluid tank (1) is installed a movable carriage (2) that is movable in a direction (1b) along one side of the fluid tank direction (1b). On the movable carriage (2) is mounted a jet fluid ejector that ejects a jet fluid (B) toward an opening (1a) of the fluid tank (1). A flexible sheet (5) is attached to the fluid tank (1) so as to cover at least a part of the opening (1a). A flexibility reinforcing strip (6) is disposed above the flexible sheet (5) in a manner that bridges both ends of the opening of the fluid tank (1) in a direction intersecting the one-side direction (1b). The flexibility reinforcing strip (6) is disposed in a portion of the flexible sheet (5) in contact with buttocks of a massage recipient when he/she is seated on and dismounted from the flexible sheet (5).
Abstract:
An in home-use cosmetic body contouring device, including a head including an oscillating carrier, a convenient to hold handle integrally attached to the head and at least one curvilinear RF electrode and optionally at least one light energy emitting element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mechanical orthotic that is an aid to walking, which attaches to the foot of the individual receiving treatment and to a mobile partial weight support apparatus, characterized in that it enables the individual to carry out walking and forward movement in just one operation and using the same device. Said device is essentially a mechanical orthotic that moves the foot; the device is attached to the foot of the individual and to the mobile partial weight support apparatus, consisting of a conveyor belt for the foot, from which belt extends a metal shaft with a foot support system at the end of the shaft where the foot will rest. Said conveyor belt is mounted on a matrix in the shape of the trajectory of the foot during walking.; The matrix consists of a metal plate fixed to the mobile partial weight support apparatus and a system of bearings that enables the foot conveyor belt to move in order to reduce friction in the system. The orthotic is designed so that one device attaches to each foot, wherein the mobile metal shafts extend toward the individual, and are laterally fixed to the mobile partial weight support apparatus. The foot conveyor belt is in direct contact with the ground, and when moved by a therapist, the entire system (mobile partial weight support apparatus, mechanical foot movement orthotic and the individual) moves the foot conveyor belts, thereby moving the feet.
