Abstract: A multiuser scheduling method in a communication system and an apparatus for the same are provided to maximize selection diversity and multiplexing by adaptively determining the number of simultaneous users according to the number of users and the average SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) in multiplexing between Tx antennas and multiple user terminals. A multiuser scheduling apparatus in a communication system comprises a user grouping part(306), a group scheduling part(308), and a user group beam subset creation part(310). The user grouping part groups a plurality of user terminals according to partial channel information which is received from the user terminals. The group scheduling part determines the number of optimal user terminals for multiplexing according to the number of users and their SINRs(Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratios). The user group beam subset creation part selects Tx beams equivalent to the determined number and creates a beam subset.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for interpolating an image by using motion-compensated interpolation pixel are provided to generate a final interpolation pixel value by using first to N-th pixel values and weight, thereby performing image interpolation as efficiently removing errors and noise caused by motion. A first pixel value is generated by using a pixel value of a pixel at plural fields including two fields present in the same location as a pixel of an interpolation field which will be interpolated between the neighboring two fields(610). Second pixel value to N-th pixel values are detected from the plural fields including the neighboring two fields by performing motion compensation with respect to the pixel of the interpolation field(620). The second pixel value to N-th pixel values are pixel values which will be used for motion compensation. A weight is generated by using a differential value generated by differentiating a predetermined reference pixel value from the first to N-th pixel values(630). By using the first to N-th pixel values and the weight, a final interpolation pixel value is generated(640).

Abstract: A channel allocation system and method in a mobile communication system are provided to reduce a signal overhead in a communication system by reducing channel allocation information and channel information for channel allocation fed back to a BS(Base Station) for an actual channel allocation.
