Abstract: PURPOSE: A touch screen device of a pressure method is provided to include a proper structure for foreign substance permeation prevention in between a window and a display panel, thereby preventing inflow of the foreign substance. CONSTITUTION: A window(210) protects a touch screen device. A display panel(250) is arranged in a lower side of the window by separation from the window. A display sensing panel(230) outputs capacitance variation according to applied pressure in the window. The display sensing panel forms a space in between the window and the display panel. The touch sensing panel is attached to the lower part of the window and to an upper side of the display panel. The touch sensing panel prevents inflow of a foreign substance for the space.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display and the control method is provided to minimize motion blur and flickering by driving the liquid crystal display with the impulsive type. A liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of pixels and a data driver(500) supplying a data signal to pixel. A signal control unit(700) receives the original gradation signal from outside and supplies the correction gray scale signal to data driver. A first and second correction gray scale signal is supplied to the region where the difference of the original gradation value and the correction gray scale signal at the nth frame and(n+2)th frame is lower than the predetermined value, and third correction gray scale signal is higher than the set value. The first correction gray scale signal is applied to the n-th frame and(n+1)th frame, and the second correction gray scale signal is applied to(n+2)th frame and(n+3)th frame, and the third correction gray scale signal is applied to the nth frame or(n+3)th frame so that pixel is operated in the impulsive type.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to control an operation of a timing controller by determining whether or not the timing controller is in abnormal states using coding signals. A display apparatus includes a display panel(100), a timing controller(210), and a source driver(300). The display panel displays images. The timing controller outputs data signals for representing images to the display panel during a display interval of a frame interval and coding signals during an erase interval of the frame interval. The source driver controls the operation of the timing controller by determining whether or not the timing controller is in abnormal states using the coding signals.
