Abstract:
PURPOSE: A diphenoxyphosphoryl flame retardant is provided to obtain excellent flame retardant property, to be environment-friendly used without using a halogen retardant when a resin is processed or combusted, and to enable a user to easily handle the diphenoxyphosphoryl flame retardant due to solid phase. CONSTITUTION: A diphenoxyphosphoryl flame retardant is marked as a chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are hydrogen or an alkyl group with C1-C6 and n is integer of 0-5. A method for manufacturing the diphenoxyphosphoryl flame retardant includes a step of reacting a compound of a chemical formula 2 with a diketone compound of a chemical formula 3. In the chemical formula 2, R1 and R2 are hydrogen or the alkyl group with C1-C6.

A nonhalogenated flame retardant resin composition is provided to improve the stability to fire, environmental friendliness and impact strength and to enhance molding property by reducing the amount of a polyphenylene ether resin. A nonhalogenated flame retardant resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin which comprises 80-99 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl-based resin, and 1-20 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin; and 0.5-30 parts by weight of a cyclic t-butyl phosphonate compound. Preferably the cyclic t-butyl phosphonate compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are H, a C1-C6 alkyl group or a C6-C10 aryl group. Preferably the aromatic vinyl-based resin is a polymer of rubber and an aromatic monoalkenyl monomer; and the polyphenylene ether resin is poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene) ether.

A nonhalogenated flame retardant styrene-based resin composition, a pellet obtained by extruding the composition, and an exterior material of an electronic device molded from the composition are provided to improve weather resistance, moldability and environmental friendliness by using no halogen-based flame retardant and reducing the amount of polyphenylene ether. A resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin which comprises 80-95 wt% of a styrene-based resin and 5-20 wt% of a polyphenylene ether resin; 1-25 parts by weight of a pentaerythritol diphosphonate represented by the formula 1; and 1-25 parts by weight of an organic phosphorus-based compound, wherein R1 is a C1-C12 alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkyl-substituted aryl group, or an aralkyl group. The organic phosphorus-based compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkyl phosphinic acid metal salt compound represented by the formula 2 (wherein R is a C1-C6 alkyl group, a cyclic alkyl group, or a C6-C10 aryl group; M is Al, Zn or Ca; and n is 2 or 3), an aromatic phosphate compound represented by the formula 3 (wherein R3, R4 and R5 are independently H or a C1-C4 alkyl group; X is a C6-C20 aryl group substituted or unsubstituted with an alkyl group derived from resorcinol, hydroquinol or bisphenol A; and n is 0-4), and a phosphazene compound represented by the formula 4 or 5.

A salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester is provided to show excellent flame retardant property, improved heat-stability and moisture absorbing property by esterifying carboxy phosphinic acid and then preparing a salt compound thereof. The salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester is represented by the formula(I), where R1 is C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl or alkyl substituted C6-12 aryl, R2 is C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl or alkyl substituted C6-12 aryl, n is an integer from 1 to 3, and M is a metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Zn, Ca, Ba and Mg or an amine-based compound selected from the group consisting of ammonium, melamine and melum. The flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin and 0.1-50 parts by weight of the salt of carboxyethyl phosphinate ester regarding 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin.

The present invention relates to a flame retardant polycarbonate resin composition comprising: a polycarbonate resin (A); a sulfonic acid metallic salt compound (B); a hollow aluminum silicate compound (C); a fluorinated polyolefin based resin (D); and an inorganic phosphate compound (E). The flame retardant polycarbonate resin composition improves optical permeability and flame retardancy in thin film formation by minimizing a fluorinated polyolefin based resin (D) content by using the hollow aluminum silicate compound (C) and improves yellowing due to the hollow aluminum silicate compound (C) by using the inorganic phosphate compound (E).
