Abstract: The method for preparing Rhizobium as inoculum comprises: (a) culturing Rhizobium japonium KCTC in the medium containing 100g of mannitol, 1.0 of yeast extract, 0.2 of MgSO4, 0.2 of NaCl, 0.2 of K2HPO4 and 1 liter distilled water at 28≦̸C for 4 days; (b) pulverizing 100g of perlite and sterilizing at 121 C for 2 hrs; (c) putting the pulverized perlite to the above culture broth in an aseptic condition and mixing; (d) aging the mixture at 25≦̸C for two weeks.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are a preparation method of benzastatin E, F, G, H, I, represented by formula(1) and formula(2) and their derivatives from Streptomyces nitrosporeus 30643 and a pharmaceutical composition for protecting neurons containing them. In the formula(1), if the compound is benzastatin E, R is CH2OMe, R' is Me; if the compound is benzastatin F, R and R' are Me; and if the compound is G, R is Me and R' is H. In the formula(2), if the compound is H, R is CH2OH and R' is Me; and if the compound is I, R is Me and R' is CH2OH. The compounds are obtained by culturing Streptomyces nitrosporeus 30643, extracting its culture solution with an organic solvent, concentrating the extract under reduced pressure to obtain crude extract, and subjection the crude extract to adsorption column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography.
