    Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst unit is provided to easily form a catalyst layer as a catalyst solution is absorbed with a flow through method that exhaust gas passes through an inlet. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst unit(100) comprises a first brick(102), a second brick(104), and an adhesive portion. A precious metal layer is formed along the exhaust gas passage of the first brick. The first brick is positioned at a part where the flow of the exhaust gas increases. The second brick is mounted on one side of the first brick, and a second precious metal layer is formed along the exhaust gas passage of the second brick. The second brick is placed at a part where the flow of the exhaust gas is reduced. The adhesive portion is formed between the first and second bricks, and fixes the second brick to the first brick.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A post-processing method of exhaust gas and a system therefor are provided to improve durability by preventing particulates from being excessively collected to a diesel particulate filter. CONSTITUTION: A post-processing method of exhaust gas is as follows. The first particulate collection amount is sensed before an engine is stopped using pressure difference between the front and rear ends of a diesel particulate filter. The second particulate collection amount is sensed when the engine is stopped and re-started using the front and rear ends of the diesel particulate filter. When a difference value between the first and second particulate collection amounts excesses a set value, the estimated particulate collection amount of the diesel particulate filter is calculated. When the estimated particulate collection amount excesses the reference collection amount of the diesel particulate filter(S110), the diesel particulate filter is regenerated.

The first part adsorbs or desorbs HC according to whether the fixed condition is satisfied. The second part has an oxidation reaction with desorbed HC so that sulfur adsorbed in an oxidation catalyst is desorbed by the heat of oxidation.
