Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement dispersant by the use of which dispersion properties, dispersion retentivity and initial strength of concrete can highly be exhibited under a wide variety of concrete production conditions. SOLUTION: This cement dispersant contains a copolymer mixture I and another copolymer mixture II, wherein: the copolymer mixture I is obtained by copolymerizing a specific monomer A such as ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a polyoxyalkylene group, and another specific monomer such as (meth)acrylic acid, and in the copolymerization, the A/B molar ratio is at least once changed in the process of this reaction; and the copolymer mixture II is obtained from such monomers A and B, similarly to the copolymer mixture I, however, has an average weight ratio of the monomer B to the total weight of the constituent monomers of the copolymers in the copolymer mixture II, different from that of the copolymer mixture I.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain workability for many hours and to improve retention of fluidity and prevention of material separation, comprising a specific copolymer and a formaldehyde condensate. CONSTITUTION:One or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phenol (derivative), melamine (derivative) and urea are (co)condensed with formaldehyde by using an amino-based short-stop selected from compounds of the formula (X1 is H, 1-3C alkyl or methoxy; Y1 is carboxyl, etc.) to give a formaldehyde condensate (A). Then, one or more polymerizable monomers selected from ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid (metallic salt), its ester and an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (metallic salt) is polymerized or the polymerizable monomer is copolymerized with 2-6C polymerizable monomer to give a copolymer (B). Then the components A and B are mixed in a given ratio to produce a cement admixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain high-strength concrete excellent in dispersibility and strength by using a specific formaldehyde (co)condensate an an admixture material in combination and producing a concrete within an ultrahigh water-reducing region. CONSTITUTION:A cement dispersing agent consisting essentially of a condensate which is a formaldehyde condensate or cocondensate, prepared by condensing a monomer condensable with the formaldehyde and an amino-based polymerization terminator are used in combination and having 10000-150000 weight-average molecular weight and =1000 molecular weight and an admixture are used in combination to produce concrete within an ultrahigh water-reducing region at 12-30% weight ratio of the water/(cement + admixture material). Thereby, a high-strength concrete is obtained. The amount of the admixture material used is preferably 5-30wt.% expressed in terms of the solid content based on the cement of the hydraulic cement composition.

As the admixture, e.g. fly ash, cylinder ash, clinker ash, blast furnace slag, silica fume, etc., can be cited.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent sustained release performance from deteriorating even in preservation for a long period by dispersing a fine particulate olefin- ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride copolymer and zinc (hydr) oxide in water and using the resultant dispersion as an admixture for cement. CONSTITUTION:An admixture for cement obtained by dispersing 100 pts.wt. fine particulate copolymer of a 2-8C olefin with an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride having 0.1-20mum, desirably 0.1-5mum average particle diameter, preferably isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer (preferably about 500-50000 average molecular weight) and zinc oxide or hydroxide containing zinc in an amount of 1-2mol based on one ring in the copolymer in an amount of 15-300 pts.wt., desirably 40-100 pts.wt. expressed in terms of zinc in combination in water at pH 6-12. The above-mentioned admixture for cement is capable of both preventing performance of operability on concrete, etc., from deteriorating with time and remarkably improving preservation stability in water.
