Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure a refrigerator temperature of which is stable at all times by detecting the frequency of the opening and closing of a door of the refrigerator, and changing set temperature for variably changing the number of revolutions of a fan responsibly to a detected result. CONSTITUTION:In control means 14 for controlling a compressor 4 and a cold air circulation fan 6 based upon an output signal from refrigerator temperature detector means 8 for detecting temperature in a freezing chamber of a refrigerator, door opening/closing detector means 13 is provided, and a counter 15 is provided in the control means 14 for counting the number of signalling from the door opening/closing detector means 13. It is judged whether refrigerator temperature is higher or lower than a set value T1 (-22 deg.C for example), and if higher, the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed through revolution control means 11 and the compressor 4 is operated. Then, the contents of the counter 15 are checked, and if they are higher than a set value (30 times for example), the refrigerator temperature is compared with a set value T4 (-15 deg.C for example), and if a detected value is higher than the set value, the fan 6 is rotated at a high speed as well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent deformation of an oblique part of a dew reception tray due to foaming pressure of a foamable heat insulator of a refrigerator body and to obtain an effective flow of defrosted water by providing spaces at the tray and an inner box, and disposing heat insulation pieces in the spaces. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator body 1 is composed of an outer box 2, an inner box 3 and foamable heat insulator 4 filled between the boxes 2 and 3. A dew reception tray 27 receives defrosted water periodically defrosted from frost on a cooler 16 by an automatic timer, and a heat insulation piece 28 of foamed styrol, etc., is disposed between the tray 27 and the box 3. Since the tray can be formed without influence of the foaming pressure of the insulator filled between the boxes 2 and 3 to the oblique angle of the inner surface 27 of the tray, drain water after defrosting the cooler 16 is effectively fed on the inner surface 27b of the tray and water droplets do not remain, and hence clogging of a drain tube 27a can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the evaporating capacity of a receiving pan for water produced by defrosting by a method wherein an evaporation promoting fan for water produced by defrosting is operated until the defrosting of next to next time is started so that the operation coincides with the operation of a rotary compressor, when the accumulating time of operation of a fixed compressor has exceeded a set time and the number of opening operation of a duct for a cold air duct has exceeded the number of set times. CONSTITUTION:When the accumulated operation time of a rotary compressor 6 has exceeded a set time, a timer 25 measures the number of times of the opening of a damper by the output of a refrigerating chamber temperature controller 31 through a defrosting controller 16 and when it has arrived at the set number of times, the H-signal of an AND circuit 26 is generated until the defrosting of next to next time is finished. On the other hand, H-signal is inputted from a defrosting controller l during the operation of a compressor 6 and a L-signal is inputted into the AND circuit 26 during the stopping of the compressor 6 while an evaporation promoting fan 30 is operated by the H-signal from the timer 25 and the H-signal during the operation of the compressor 6 and the fan 30 is stopped during the stopping of the compressor 6 even when a signal from the timer 25 is 'H'. Accordingly, the evaporating capacity of the water produced by defrosting can be increased and the dewing on the bottom surface of a refrigerator can be prevented when the opening and/or closing of a door is frequent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve a higher evaporating capacity under conditions in which a plenty of defrosted water builds up by measuring a defrosting time to operate an evaporation promoting blower synchronizing the operation of a rotary type compressor up to the subsequent defrosting in comparison with a preset value. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is equipped with a rotary type compressor 6 within a machine chamber 5, an evaporation promoting blower 30 adapted to cause a forced convection within the chamber 5 and a defrosting means which starts a defrosting after a specified time of operation of the compressor 6. Defrosting time is measured with a defrosting timer 25 to be compared with a set value and when the set value is exceeded, water frost attached to a cooler 7 is judged to become massive. To raise a evaporating capacity of water defrosted on a defrosted water tray 9, the blower 30 is operated up to the subsequent defrosting synchronizing the operation of the compressor 6 to cause a forced convection within the chamber 5. This can improve the evaporating capacity as compared with the conventional type and also prevents dew formation of a bottom surface part of the refrigerator by effect of the convection.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the cooling unit from being clogged with frost and prevent the temperature increase in the refrigerator by providing a means which first supplies power to the defrosting heater in a case when the quick cooling switch is turned on during a forced precooling operation and then starting a forced cooling operation. CONSTITUTION:In a case when the quick cooling switch 14 is turned on while the 'H' signal is outputted from the (e) output of a precool timer 20, both the inputs to an AND 35 become 'H' and further becomes 'L' in an inverter circuit 37. The output of an AND circuit 38 then becomes 'L', and a transistor 23 is turned off to stop the compressor 12 and fan 9. The output of the AND circuit 35 is connected to an OR circuit 36 to cause a defrosting timer 30 to output 'H' for a certain period of time and a transistor 31 to turn on to supply power to a defrosting timer 10. When the defrosting timer 30 has counted up a certain time period, the 'R' input to a quick cooling timer 34 becomes 'L' to output 'H' for a certain period of time, causing the (e) output of the precool timer 20 to become 'L', and so, both the inputs to the AND circuit 38 become 'H' to turn on the transistor 23 to operate the compressor 12 and fan 9 for a forced cooling operation for a certain time period.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent an external appearance and performance of a metal plate from being deteriorated owing to deflection and deformation of the metal plate upon refrigerator cooling operation by mounting the metal plate with the aid of a plurality of insertion holes and a stopper piece in a plastic frame peripheral part, and providing clearance absorbing thermal compression over the entire periphery. CONSTITUTION: A metal plate 5 is inserted into a space part 2c in a flange 2 of a peripheral part of a frame 1 through an insertion hole 7 from an oblique upper portion, and once the metal plate 5 is lifted, an engagement piece 2b is moved into an opening part 2a to bring the back of the metal plate 5 and a reception surface 4 of the plastic frame 1 into contact with each other. When the metal plate 5 is slided to the space part 2c on the opposite side of the flange 2, the metal plate is disengaged from the engagement piece 2b and the engagement piece 2b is returned to an original position with resilient force so that the metal plate 5 is kept in its predetermined clearance without being disengaged from the space part 2c. Although the cooling plate 8 is exposed to considerable low temperature upon refrigerator operation, the metal plate 5 and the plastic frame 1 kept the predetermined clearance and a thermal compression difference between the metal and the plastic is absorbed, so that an external appearance and performance such as deformation and deflection are prevented from being lowered.
