Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for slot aggregation configuration with user equipment (UE) assistance information. A method that may be performed by a UE may include transmitting, to a base station (BS), assistance information indicating a preferred repetition factor. The method generally includes receiving an indication from the BS of a repetition factor. The BS can determine the repetition factor for the UE based, at least in part, on the assistance information and indicate the determined repetition factor to the UE.

Abstract: A positioning signal processing method at a user equipment includes: operating the user equipment in a discontinuous reception mode including time interleaved ON times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an active mode monitoring for a positioning signal measurement trigger signal, and OFF times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an inactive mode; receiving a wake-up signal at the user equipment; and determining, at the user equipment, whether to measure a positioning signal based on whether the wake-up signal indicates to implement the active mode during a scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time or to skip the scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a capability to support a mode of uplink control information (UCI) transmission corresponding to transmitting the UCI on an uplink control channel and an uplink signal on an uplink shared channel when the resources of the uplink control channel and the resources of the uplink shared channel are at least partially overlapping. In a first UCI transmission mode, the UE may transmit UCI on an uplink control channel with resources that overlap with an uplink shared channel. In another UCI transmission mode, the UE may multiplex the UCI in the uplink shared channel. The base station may transmit a configuration indicating to the UE to use a UCI transmission mode. The UE may transmit UCI on the uplink control channel and uplink signal on the uplink shared channel based on the configuration.

In an aspect, a base station transmits a first radar reference signal (RRS) on a first set of resources comprising first time resources, first frequency resources, first spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the first set of resources is selected to enable a first user equipment (UE) to perform a first type of environment sensing, and transmits a second RRS on a second set of resources comprising second time resources, second frequency resources, second spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the second set of resources is selected to enable a second UE to perform a second type of environment sensing, wherein the second set of resources is different from the first set of resources, and wherein the second type of environment sensing is different from the first type of environment sensing.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a network component (e.g., BS, core network component, etc. ) transmits an assignment of a configured grant (CG) uplink (UL) transmission (TX) resource pool to a plurality of user equipments (UEs). The network component further transmits, to each of the plurality of UEs, at least one resource pool access parameter to each of the plurality of UEs. A respective UE may determine which resources of the CG UL TX resource pool are utilized for one or more transmissions based on the at least one resource pool access parameter, and perform the transmission (s) thereon.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which one of multiple transmission-reception points (TRPs) may be identified for beam failure procedures in a secondary cell (Scell). Reference signals of the different TRPs may have a different control resource set pool index values, and a user equipment (UE) may monitor such reference signals as part of a beam failure detection (BFD) procedure. The UE may identify one or more beams associated with a particular pool index value that has a degraded channel quality, and may determine to declare a beam failure. The UE may transmit a link recovery request to a serving cell that requests uplink resources for a beam failure recovery message. The UE may receive an uplink grant and may transmit a beam failure recovery message that indicates the Scell and TRP with the beam failure.

Abstract: A base station may use semi-persistent scheduling to schedule multi-user communications (e.g., multi-user packets). In some aspects, each multi-user packet may include aggregated payloads for different users (e.g., different wireless communication devices). In some examples, a multi-user packet may include a header with several sub-headers, where each sub-header identifies a corresponding user that has a payload in the multi-user packet. To enable a wireless communication device to determine that the base station is transmitting multi-user packets in a semi-persistent manner, the base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) that indicates that multi-user packets are scheduled for transmission, where the DCI is scrambled with a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) that is designated for multi-user SPS traffic. The base station may provide this RNTI to a group of users to enable the users to receive multi-user packets according to the SPS.

Abstract: A wireless communication device in a wireless communication network receives a downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a first slot, and determines whether a multi-user packet in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) includes data for the wireless communication device based on the DCI and without decoding any portion of the multi-user packet. A base station in a wireless communication network generates at least one downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a first slot, wherein the at least one DCI informs at least wireless communication device whether a multi-user packet in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) includes data for the at least one wireless communication device without the at least one wireless communication device decoding any portion of the multi-user packet.

Abstract: Aspects relate to technologies and techniques for sequence-based, non-coherent wireless channel transmission of a payload on a physical uplink channel. A transmitter converts information bits of a payload to be transmitted to a decimal integer value that is, in turn, used to generate a modified maximum sequence (m-sequence) based on one or more predetermined parameters such as an m-sequence generating polynomial, a starting location in the sequence, and an initialization. The generated modified m-sequences are modulated using modulation schemes such as π/2 binary phase-shift keying and quadrature phase-shift keying for transmission on the physical uplink channel.
