Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter excellent in color resolution, durability, heat resistance, conductivity, gas barrier property, scratching resistance and chemical resistance. Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a film of uniform film thickness and without defects by agitating a coating composition a specified time (minutes) before immersing a material to be coated into the coating composition in the dip coating method. CONSTITUTION:When a plastic material is utilized as an optical element, a film is formed on the surface for the purpose of improving the defects of low surface hardness. Particularly a coating is applied by the dip coating method. In that case, a coating composition is agitated within 5 minutes before immersing a material to be coated into the coating composition in the dip coating method. Also inorganic fine particles are contained in the coating composition. A resin formed body is used as the material to be coated. Thus a film of uniform film thickness and without the surface defects such as foreign matters is manufactured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thin plate superior in surface accuracy and thickness accuracy at a high yield by a method wherein in a cell cast molding, a conductive substance is disposed in contact with a polymerizable composition charged in a mold, and the composition is polymerized. CONSTITUTION:It is preferable that a part of a conductive substance 1 is disposed outside a gasket 2. A remarkable effect can be obtained when at least one part of a molded piece is 1mm or less in thickness. As the conductive substance 1, a metal, a carbon fiber, a conductive polymer, and the like can be used. The conductive substance 1 preferably has a linear or planar shape and a thickness or diameter of 0.5mm or less. Alternatively, the conductive substance or a metallic oxide, such as an indium/tin oxide, may be deposited on a part of an inner surface of at least one mold. This can prevent such a phenomenon as a crack of a molded piece caused by an adhesion of a part of the molded piece on the other part of one mold by a static electricity generated when the molded piece is released from the mold.

It is advantageous to add at least one of various ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidizing agents and antistatic agents to the resin material for the purpose of improving the weatherability, oxidative deterioration resistance, antistatic properties, etc., thereof. The resin material is useful for an optical filter for a display, a substrate for a liquid crystal display, a substrate for an optical disk, etc.
