Abstract:
There is provided a massage apparatus capable of providing optimum massage effects even with variations in thickness of to-be-treated area such as a lower leg from user to user. The massage apparatus 1 comprises a massage section 7 having a stationary massage member 15 and a movable massage member 16, a rotary shaft 9, 10 disposed so as to pass through the base end of the movable massage member 16, a driving section 11 for rotatably driving the rotary shaft 9, 10, a pair of right-hand and left-hand changer sections 12, 13 for changing a rotational force of the rotary shaft 9, 19 into an action of movement of the movable massage member 16 toward and away from the stationary massage member 15; and a breadth adjustment mechanism 14 capable of positioning movement of the stationary massage member 15 in directions toward and away from the movable massage member 16.
Abstract:
A massager has a base, a motor assembly mounted on the base and having a worm shaft extending out of the motor, a transmission assembly including a transmission axle, a linking gear to mate with the worm gear, two secondary gears to drive two horizontal gears of a rubbing assembly and two pairs of kneading assemblies being respectively provided on opposite sides of the central seat to wabble when the transmission axle is rotated. Therefore, rotation of the rubbing assembly and wobbling movement of the kneading assembly are able to provide two different massaging effects to the user.
Abstract:
An exercise apparatus including a platform for a user to stand or sit upon, mounted on a body formed of two wedge-shaped parts which are turned relative to each other so that the platform is inclined relative to a base. The platform is coupled to the top of the body via a first bearing, and the body is coupled to the base by a second bearing: the platform is prevented from rotating relative to the base by a gimbal arrangement. A motor coupled to a shaft rotates the body so that the direction of tilt of the platform sweeps around in a corresponding circular manner.
Abstract:
An acupressure massaging system includes a platform having an upper surface, and includes an array of intersecting air channels extending therethrough in communication with space external of the pad. An array of spaced, independently flexible nipples extends from the upper surface of the platform, each nipple having an upper distal end and a flexible, accordion-pleated side wall comprised of material having elastic memory and defining an internal air-flow chamber. The air-flow chamber is in fluid communication with the air-flow channels and each nipple is structured and disposed for movement from a biased and normally extended position to a compressed position in response to contact with the skin or clothing of the user. The elastic memory of the nipples' side walls, created by the accordion-pleated side wall structure in cooperation with the elastic memory of the material of the side walls, normally urges the nipples to their extended positions to exert a kinetic counterforce on the skin or through clothing of the user providing an acupressure massaging and air-flow effect.
Abstract:
A skin treatment device comprising a skin polishing head to remove skin from a treatment area, a collection bin disposed within the housing and positioned to collect the skin removed by skin polishing head, a conduit disposed adjacent to the skin polishing head and the housing, the conduit being in fluid communication with the collection bin, and a drive mechanism coupled to the skin polishing head, rotation of the drive mechanism simultaneously driving the skin polishing head and creating suction to urge skin removed by the skin polishing head through the conduit and into the collection bin.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a set-down device (30) for setting down on a neurophysiological stimulator for transmitting movements generated by the system, at least comprising a set-down side (31) for setting down on the stimulator, and also comprising a transmission side (32) for transmitting the movements received via the set-down side (31), wherein the transmission side (32) has at least one at least partially projecting stimulation element (1), which is suitable for transmitting the movements and thus for neurophysiological stimulation. The invention also relates to a neurophysiological stimulator (40) for stimulating an object by the transmission of movements generated by the stimulator (40), at least comprising a movement unit (41) and at least one drive unit (42) for generating the movement, the drive unit being coupled to the movement unit (41), wherein the drive unit (42) is designed as a tumbling and/or spinning unit and generates a tumbling and/or spinning movement. The invention additionally relates to a method for the neurophysiological stimulation of an object by the transmission of movements generated by a stimulator (40) according to the invention.
