Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering device for a railway vehicle is provided to improve riding comfort by increasing driving stability when the railway vehicle runs at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A first bracket(110) and a second bracket are symmetrically disposed at the outside of a bearing box(20). A hinge bracket(150) is coupled with the middle part of a side frame, and rotates around a hinge pin. A first link(170) is coupled with the first bracket and the top of the hinge bracket. A second link(190) is disposed on the bottom of the hinge bracket and is coupled with the second bracket. The first link and the second link are symmetrically disposed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A brush type safety device for a platform is provided to prevent an accident and to reduce installation costs by simply installing a brush strip at the platform and closing a space between a railway vehicle(11) and the platform. CONSTITUTION: In a safety device for a platform(12), L-shaped brush housings(14) are installed at the end surface of the platform(12). A rail groove is formed at the brush housings. A brush strip(13) is fixed to the brush housings, and protrudes toward a track(10). And, the brush strip closes a space between a railway vehicle(11) and the platform.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for controlling the height of couplers of a railway vehicle is provided to control the height of couplers by wear of wheels by installing a height control block. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the height of couplers of a railway vehicle is connected with a trolley of a railway vehicle and forms an axle box divided into an axle box holder(10) and axle box(20). A height control unit is installed at the coupling area the axle box and holder to control the height of the coupler by the wear of wheels. A height control block(30) having a dislocation protective piece is inserted between the coupling area of the axle box and the axle box holder for control of the height of the couplers. A rack is formed to the axle box and a pinion gear is formed to a side of the axle box holder to control the height of the couplers by vertical movement of the axle box through the rack and pinion. A term of changing a wheel by wear of a wheel is extended because the height control block is inserted and the cost of maintenance is reduced.
