    Abstract: PURPOSE: An universal joint coupling unit is provided to prevent the misassembling of a universal joint and the input shaft of a gear box through preventing the coupling of the same in case of the coupling is incomplete. CONSTITUTION: An universal joint coupling unit(100) comprises a misassembling preventing member(200). The universal joint coupling unit is inserted in the mounting hole(117) of an universal joint and installed by a cutout part(113). The misassembling preventing member opens a bolt hole(119) only in case of the fastening groove(123) and the bolt hole of an input shaft is matched through inserting an universal joint completely.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reduction structure for an electromotive power steering is provided to secure stable engagement state by handling with expansion of a worm wheel due to moisture-absorption since a worm gear shaft is elastically supported toward a worm wheel. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction structure for an electromotive power steering comprises a worm wheel(10), a worm gear shaft(12), a tilt bearing(13), a support bearing(15), an elliptical ring(17), and an elastic member protrusion(19). The worm wheel is coupled with a steering shaft. The worm gear shaft comprises a worm gear engaging with the worm wheel. The tilt bearing supports one end of the worm gear shaft. The support bearing supports the other end of the worm gear shaft. The elliptical ring comprises an inner diametrical portion in order to accept the movement of the support bearing. The elastic member protrusion is projected from the inner diametrical portion of the elliptical ring to press the support bearing.
