Abstract: PURPOSE: A high performance liquid gasket composition is provided to improve the sealing property due to its hybrid structure comprising a spacer and rubber. By using the liquid gasket composition, the time and cost spent for producing a gasket can be reduced owing to reduction in the vulcanization period and elimination of the mold fabrication process, and the sealing can be semi-permanent. CONSTITUTION: The high performance liquid gasket composition comprises, based on 100 pts.wt. of a butadiene rubber, 40-43 pts.wt. of carbon black, 0.5-0.8 pts.wt. of polyethylene glycol, 4-6 pts.wt. of a coupling agent, 0.7-1.2 pts.wt. of a peroxide type vulcanizing agent, 23-28 pts.wt. of paraffin-based oil and 2-5 pts.wt. of a dimension stabilizing agent. A gasket for a fuel cell is formed by applying the gasket composition to each of the upper and lower side of the spacer, in which the spacer is a polyester film having a thickness of 0.3-0.4 mm and the gasket composition is applied with a thickness of 0.15-2 mm and a width of 0.3-0.35 mm.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An extruding solid-coating material and a method for treating the surface of weather strip sponge tube using the material are provided, to improve the appearance of weather strip sponge tube and the abrasion resistance and to prevent the environmental pollution due to the surface treatment. CONSTITUTION: The extruding solid-coating material comprises 100 parts by weight of an ethylene-propylene rubber; 60-70 parts by weight of a paraffin-based oil; 0.7-1.4 parts by weight of dithiocarbamate-based vulcanization accelerator; and 2.1-3.5 parts by weight of a thiazole-based vulcanization accelerator. The temperature of product profile at an extruder is 80-88 deg.C; the temperature of ultra high frequency(UHF) chamber is 240-260 deg.C; the surface temperature of product at the exit of a UHF chamber is 140-170 deg.C; the temperature of hot air vulcanization(HAV) chamber is 260-270 deg.C; the temperature of the surface temperature of product at the exit of the HAV chamber is 230-260 deg.C; and the extrusion temperature is 11-13 m/min.
