Abstract: PURPOSE: A control method for cooling high voltage components of a hybrid vehicle is provided to reduce air intake temperature of the high voltage component by automatically converting an internal air mode into an external air mode. CONSTITUTION: The temperature of the high voltage component is measured. Whether the temperature of the high voltage component is greater than limit temperature or not is determined. In case the temperature of the high voltage component is greater than limit temperature, an internal air mode is converted into an external air mode. In the external air mode, duty cooling control based on the temperature is performed on the high voltage component. In case the temperature of the high voltage component is less than the limit temperature in the external air mode, the external air mode is converted into the internal air mode.
