Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for predicting a sound source location are provided to three-dimensionally predict a location of a sound source using a small number of microphones, thereby reducing hardware size and calculation quantity. CONSTITUTION: An obtaining unit(100) obtains the nth mutual correlation value sequences about the nth microphone pairs. A mapping function applying unit(110) assigns mutual correlation values of the nth mutual correlation value sequences to corresponding coordinates of the nth coordinate system according to a preset nth mapping function. An estimating unit(120) estimates the direction of a sound source based on the allocation result.

Abstract: An ultra wideband impulse signal receiver and a triggering circuit recover the ultra wideband impulse signal to a digital signal by using the triggering circuit composed of an amplifier and an inverter. A low noise amplifier(130) is used for amplifying the ultra-wideband impulse signal received from the outside. An envelope detector(140) is used for outputting the detected analog signal by detecting the envelop of the amplified ultra-wideband impulse signal. An ultra wideband impulse signal receiver(100) includes a triggering circuit(150) converting the detected analog signal into the digital signal. An ultra wideband antenna(110) is used for receiving the ultra-wideband impulse signal from the outside.

Abstract: A load measuring device having magnets and sliding structure is provided to measure accurate vertical load by reducing horizontal load generated when measuring dynamic load of a car. A load measuring device(10) having magnets and sliding structure comprises a base block(18) and magnet portions(22A,22B,42A,42B). Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric steering system by using a semiactive actuator is provided to improve steering stability by applying reaction force to a steering wheel according to information on the vehicle with a damper. CONSTITUTION: An electric steering system is composed of a steering operation unit, a current adjuster(80) controlling rotation resistance of a damper(30), and a controller(90) controlling the current adjuster according to torque from a torque sensor(40) and a wheel steering motor(110) according to rotation from a rotational angle sensor(50). The steering operation unit consists of a steering shaft(20) vertically connected to a steering wheel(10), a torsion spring(70) connected between the steering shaft and the vehicle body through a jig(60), the damper supplying steering reaction force according to current, the rotational angle sensor detecting rotation of the steering wheel, and the torque sensor engaged with the steering shaft to detect torque of the steering wheel. Steering stability is improved with applying reaction force to the steering wheel by the damper.
