    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled article which is flexible and tough and has moisture-proofness and moisture permeability, by melt-molding a compsn. contg. a polyolefin resin, a filler and a triglyceride and stretching the resulting film or sheet. CONSTITUTION:A compsn, contg. a polyolefin resin (e.g. linear low-density polyethylene), a filler (e.g. CaCO3) and a triglyceride (pref. triglyceride of an 8-22C fatty acid) is melt-molded into a film or sheet, which is then stretched (e.g. monoaxially stretched at a draw ratio of 1.5 or above) to obtain a porous film or sheet. The product is flexible and tough, has good moisture proofness and moisture permeability and is useful as clothing, medical material, sanitary material (e.g. moistureproof and moisture-permeable sheet of diaper), filter, battery separator, etc.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to maintain hydrophilicity at a skin contact surface side material even after the body fluid, such as urine or menstrual blood, is excreted several times by using a non-woven fabric which is mainly composed of polyolefin or polyester based fibers and is treated with sericin on its fiber surfaces as the skin contact surface side material. SOLUTION: A throw-away diaper 1 is constituted by having a liquid penneable surface material 2, a liquid impermeable rear surface material 3 and a liquid holdable absorber interposed between the front and rear surface materials 2 and 3. A belly side waist part 5 existing on the belly side of a wearing person at the time of wearing and a back side waist part 5' existing on the back side are formed. At this time, the non-woven fabric which is mainly composed of the polyolefin or polyester based fibers and is treated with the sericin on its fiber surfaces is used as the front surface material 2 which is the skin contact surface side material. The sericin is one kind of protein and is obtainable in a refining stage for cocoon yarn. The non-woven fabric is formed by impregnating the raw non-woven fabric with the sericin, then insolubilizing the sericin, thereby adding the sericin to the fabric.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a throw-away diaper having the excellent touch and hand and a comfortable feel to wear by using sheets including stretch elastic non- woven fabrics made of hard elastic consisting of crystalline polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer as components for stretchable side panels. SOLUTION: The stretchable panels 20, 20' consist of the sheets including the stretch elastic non-woven fabrics consisting of stretch elastic composite fibers (composite fibers) of a two-component system contg. the hard elastic consisting of the crystalline polypropylene as a first component and the thermoplastic elastomer as a second component. The content of the first component in the composite fibers is preferably 5 to 70wt.% and the content of the second component is 95 to 30wt.%. In the case of blending with another fiber, the stretch elastic non-woven fabrics contain preferably >=30wt.% composite fibers. The stretch elastic non-woven fabrics are obtd. by fusing the interlinkage points of the fibers of a web to each other by a heat treatment at the temp. between the m. p. of the first component and the m. p. of the second component, thereby forming many adhesive points.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a porous sheet having reduced friction and good properties, such as mechanical strengths, flexibility and air permeability, necessary for the backing material of an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper or sanitary items. SOLUTION: This moisture-permeable porous sheet is obtained by at least uniaxially orienting a sheet made of a mixture comprising 50-90 pts.wt. crystalline polyolefin resin and 50-10 pts.wt. organic compound which is compatible with the polyolefin resin when the resin is molten and forms a separate phase at a temperature equal to or lower than the crystallization temperature of the resin at a draw ratio of 1.2-5 to form an oriented sheet having a thickness of 10-100μm and embossing the oriented sheet to form an irregular pattern in which the difference between recessed and protruded parts is 10-500μm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a porous sheet which is excellent in elasticity, permeability and water-pressure resistance; and to provide an absorptive article using the porous sheet, the article leaking no body fluid or the like absorbed by a soft shrinking force from the whole face of a diaper and releasing the body fluid by evaporation so that the diaper does not become stuffy and is comfortable to wear. CONSTITUTION:A porous sheet is produced in such a manner as a resin composite containing 50 to 400 parts by weight of a filler and, if necessary, 0 to 35 parts by weight of a softening agent based on 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin composite containing 20 to 80 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin and 80 to 20 parts by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer, is molded into a sheet state and at least uniaxially stretched. Also, the porous sheet is used as a back surface material in an absorptive article consisting of a permeable surface material, a leakage-proof back surface material, and an absorptive body interposed between these surface and back surface materials.
