    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component refrigerator capable of changing/increasing- decreasing the volume by freely arranging and combining respective storage chamber units. SOLUTION: A recessed part is formed on a top surface and a bottom surface of the first to third storage chamber units 20, 21, and 22 for cooling a storage chamber by a brine cooling type Peltier element and respective storage chamber units 20 to 23 of a fourth storage chamber unit 23 for cooling the storage chamber in a steam compression type refrigerating cycle, and a bottom surface of a heat radiating unit 24 for cooling brine, and when vertically stacking the respective units, when fixing a connecting part by using a connecting plate housed in a space composed of a recessed part of the bottom surface and a recessed part of the top surface and a fastening part for fixing the connecting plate to the respective units, these units are constituted so as to function as a refrigerator having a plurality of independent storage chambers so as to be settable to mutually different temperature bands, and so as not to mutually circulate cold air.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate nuclear magnetic resonance over a vast range in a storage of a quick freezing refrigerator which utilizes nuclear magnetic resonance. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 40 is provided with a pair of varying magnetic field generating means 41 for generating a variable magnetic field in which magnetic force varies, an electromagnetic wave generating means 42 for radiating electromagnetic waves of a given frequency toward food 44 from a direction right angle to the magnetic force line of the variable magnetic field, and a refrigerating means 43 for cooling inside of the refrigerator 40. Nuclear magnetic resonance is generated in a hydrogen nucleus by the variable magnetic fields and the electromagnetic waves to lower the freezing temperature of the water molecules contained in the food 44. Utilizing such a phenomenon, the food 44 is allowed to freeze at a temperature which is lower than the normal freezing temperature of the food 44. Thus, nuclear magnetic resonance is generated over a vast range in the storage, enabling refrigeration of the food 44 without destroying its cell membranes. Accordingly, when the food 44 is thawed, the cell membranes can be restored to have the pre-refrigeration conditions. In this way, food as refrigerated fresh can be served.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerator using combustible refrigerant in which damage of low pressure refrigerant piping and leakage of refrigerant can be detected easily. SOLUTION: Refrigerating machine oil of a compressor 1 is mixed with an oxygen detecting agent changing hue upon reaction to oxygen and a pipe 20 for visualizing flow of internal fluid is provided as a part of piping of refrigeration cycle. When low pressure refrigerant piping is damaged, outdoor air flows into the piping because the inner pressure of the piping is lower than the atmospheric pressure. Since the oxygen detecting agent mixed into the refrigerating machine oil reacts on the oxygen in the outdoor air to change the hue, an abnormality can be detected easily in the early stage.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid compression from occurring by suction of liquid refrigerant by discharging stagnating refrigerant from a discharge port provided about the bottom of a compressor by using a refrigerating machine oil, and evaporating the liquid refrigerant in a evaporation pipe to flaw it out into a suction pipe. SOLUTION: During interruption of a compressor 10 refrigerating machine oil 7 and a liquid refrigerant, both being mutually not soluble, are separated into two layers where the refrigerating machine oil 7 stagnates in a shell 11 as an upper layer with the liquid refrigerant as a lower layer owing to their specific gravities. In this state, when the operation of the compressor 10 is started and simultaneously a two-way valve 14 is opened, the liquid refrigerant is sucked through a discharge hole 12 communicated with a suction pipe 10a, and is sucked into the compressor 10 through a discharge pipe 13, the two way valve 14, a flow rate limit valve 15, an evaporation pipe 16, and the suction pipe 10a. At this time, the liquid refrigerant is limited in its flow rate by the flow rate limit pipe 15 after passage through the two way valve 14 and is reduced in its pressure, and is further evaporated in the evaporation pipe 16 whereby when it reaches the suction pipe 10a, it becomes refrigerant vapor so that liquid is prevented from being compressed in the compressor 10.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bumping of refrigerant by making a control so that a compressor is stopped after it is started in starting the compressor, and re- started the compressor in a refrigerator using the refrigerant mainly consisting of hydrofluorocarbon. SOLUTION: In a refrigerator in which refrigerant mainly consisting of hydrofluorocarbon and the refrigerating machine oil is used, temperature in the refrigerator is detected by an in-chamber temperature detecting means 10 while a compressor 1 is stopped. When the detected value reaches a prescribed value, the compressor 1 is started by a compressor start control means 12. Decompression in the compressor 1 is started, and the refrigerating machine oil is stirred and mixed together with the refrigerant by a moving part in the compressor 1. Then, the compressor 1 is stopped, and the decompressed condition of the pressure in the compressor 1 is mitigated. Because the compressor 1 is re-started in a condition where the refrigerating machine oil is stirred together with the refrigerant, the refrigerant is gradually started to be vaporized from the surface as the pressure in the compressor 1 is dropped.
