Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a constitution, to facilitate assembling, to increase the resistance against impact from the outside, to miniaturize an entire device, and to move a moved body appropriately.
SOLUTION: The moved body 1 can be moved vertically via a support pin 2 engaged with a guide hole 5 in a side plate 4. When a first cam plate 6 is rotated so that a first support groove 8 engages with the support pin 2 and a second cam plate 7 is moved linearly so that a second support groove 14 does not engage with the support pin 2, the support pin 2 moves along the guide hole 5. When the first cam plate 6 is rotated so that the first support groove 8 does not engage with the support pin 2 and the second cam plate 7 is moved linearly so that the second support groove 14 engages with the support pin 2, the movement of the support pin 2 stops. These operations are cyclically repeated to allow a lifting up operation or a lifting down operation.

When the optical pickup section 12 is moved to the outside of the optical disk, the cover plate 45 is caused to be moved away from the objective lens 11 by means of the operating section 55, thereby causing the cover plate 45 to cover the objective lens 11 while avoiding abutment against the objective lens 11.

SOLUTION: A driving mechanism is constructed by providing a gear 35 rotated by a drive motor via a transmission belt, a gear 36 meshed with the gear 35 to be rotated, gears 37, 38 and 39 corresponding to disk trays 3, 4 and 5 and a gear 40 meshed with the gear 36 in a drive shaft 41. The driving mechanism is always driven to rotate the drive shaft 41 via the gears 35 and 36. The shaft 41 moves one tray selected by a switching means in a horizontal direction in the inner and outer sides of the device. Since the shaft 41 is supported to be freely rotated in a side wall 42 erected in the inner side of the side face of device with a driving force from the motor disposed in the bottom surface part of the device, a width dimension of the device is reduced to a minimum.

When recording/reproducing is over, the disk is returned to its original position by a returning mechanism 131. That is, the movement like a planetary gear is performed between the roller and the guides.

CONSTITUTION:When a planet gear 33 is rotated while a disk placing plate 4 is pulled out, the placing plate 4 is moved in a housing direction at the linear part of a rack 47. When the gear 33 arrives at the arc-shaped part of the rack 47, the movement is speed-reduced, and by the rotation of a swaying arm 30, a cam member 39 is rotated. Thus, an engaging pin 19 of a base unit 8 ascends along a cam groove and a unit 8 is also turned in the ascending direction. An optical head 12, a turn table 15, etc., protrude on the upper surface of a chassis 2, the disk is pushed up to a table 15 and attracted to a chucking member 54. Thus, the chucking of the disk is executed without any shock, smoothly and surely.
