    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density metal-laminated sheet for a circuit substrate which is high in reliability and an aromatic polyamide film applicable to the circuit substrate. SOLUTION: In the metal-laminated sheet, a metal layer is formed at least on one side of the aromatic polyamide film 0.3% or below in heat shrinkage ratios in the longitudinal and cross directions when heated at 200 deg.C for 30 min, 50% or below in heat shrinkage ratio mottle, 40×10 (%RH) or below in humidity expansion coefficient, and 50% or below in humidity expansion coefficient mottle.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide film that is useful as a base film for magnetic recording because it has excellent output characteristics and traveling properties and provide a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The objective aromatic polyamide film satisfies the formulas: 0.1 =5 nm height is defined as N5 in N/mm2 and the projection density of >=10 nm height is defined as N10 in N/mm2, and the thermal shrinkage of the film is in the range of 0.3-5% before and after the heat treatment at 180 deg.C in the widthwise direction for 30 minutes.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a long-time recording with reduced drop-outs to be performed by setting the Ra value of the one side surface of a film into a specific range, the Young's modulus both in the longitudinal and in a breadthwise directions to be not smaller than a specific value, and the number of pin holes present in the film to be not larger than a specific value. SOLUTION: The Ra value of the one side surface of a film is set to be 1-5 nm, preferably, 2-4 nm. The Young's modulus in the longitudinal and a breadthwise directions of the film is set to be not smaller than 10,000 MPa, preferably, 11,000-25,000 MPa. The number of pin holes present in the film is set to be 7/1,000 m2 or smaller, preferably, 1-5/1,000 m2 or smaller. Furthermore, the number of dent-shaped defects of the surface of one side is set to be 100/1,000 m2 or smaller, preferably, 20-80/1,000 m2 or smaller. A resin for forming the film is preferably an aromatic polyamide or aromatic polyimide which becomes a high modulus of elasticity film because of a molecular orientation.

SOLUTION: A film having the following properties is obtained: 1. the three- dimensional surface roughness SRa is =5 Gpa. The number of projections higher than 40 nm is 0.01-3.0 on at least one face. The film is mainly composed of a polyamide resin. In order to attain these physical values, for example, a method for controlling the shape and the size of particles in the film is cited.
