The Young's modulus in the longitudinal and a breadthwise directions of the film is set to be not smaller than 10,000 MPa, preferably, 11,000-25,000 MPa. The number of pin holes present in the film is set to be 7/1,000 m2 or smaller, preferably, 1-5/1,000 m2 or smaller. Furthermore, the number of dent-shaped defects of the surface of one side is set to be 100/1,000 m2 or smaller, preferably, 20-80/1,000 m2 or smaller. A resin for forming the film is preferably an aromatic polyamide or aromatic polyimide which becomes a high modulus of elasticity film because of a molecular orientation.
