Abstract:
A color filter is provided with a red filter segment, a green filter segment and a blue filter segment on a substrate. The color filter is suitable for a liquid crystal display device wherein a white LED is used as a light source. The white LED has spectroscopic characteristics wherein a wavelength (U1) has maximum emission intensity within a range of 430nm-485nm, a peak wavelength (U2) of a second emission intensity within a range of 530nm-580nm, and a ratio (I2/I1) of an emission intensity (I2) with the wavelength (U2) to an emission intensity (I1) with the wavelength (U1) is 0.2 or more but not more than 0.7. The red filter segment has a 50% transmittance wavelength within a range of 595-610nm, and a transmittance of 85% or more with a wavelength of 630nm. The blue filter segment has a maximum transmittance wavelength of 455nm or less, and a transmittance of 55% or more with a wavelength of 450nm. Each thickness of the red filter segment, the green filter segment and the blue filter segment is 3.0mum or less. Disclosed is a diaminoarylene compound having a carbazolyl group, which is represented by the general formula [1]: [1] wherein Ar1 to Ar4 independently represent a univalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms which may has a substituent, a univalent heterocyclic group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms which may have a substituent, or a 3-carbazolyl-derived group, provided that at least one of Ar1 to Ar4 represents a 3-carbazolyl-derived group; and X represents a phenanthrene-diyl-derived group which may have a substituent, an o-phenylene-derived group which may have a substituent, or an m-phenylene-derived group which may have a substituent. Also disclosed is a material for an organic electroluminescence element, which comprises the diaminoarylene compound. Further disclosed is an electroluminescence element using the material.

A coloring resin composition which comprises at least a pigment, a pigment derivative, a melamine compound or benzoguanamine compound, and a resin having one or more kinds of phosphate groups or a resin comprising units of a monomer represented by a specific structural formula. The composition has satisfactory chemical resistance. Optimizing the resin structure and optimizing the makeup of the coloring resin composition enable the composition to have a low viscosity and satisfactory long-term viscosity stability when used as a coating material or ink having a high pigment concentration, and enable the composition to have a low viscosity and satisfactory delivery stability while retaining resistances when used as an ink-jet ink. With this ink-jet ink, high-performance color filter substrates, packages, outdoor signboards, etc. can be far more efficiently produced as compared with conventional methods.

Disclosed is a method for producing a metal particle dispersion wherein a metal compound is reduced by using carbodihydrazide represented by the formula (1) below or a polybasic acid polyhydrazide represented by the formula (2) below (wherein R represents an n-valent polybasic acid residue) in a liquid medium. By reducing the metal compound in the presence of a compound having a function preventing discoloration of the metal, there can be obtained a metal particle dispersion having excellent discoloration preventing properties. Metal particles produced by such methods have a uniform particle diameter and are excellent in dispersion stability. By using a conductive resin composition or conductive ink containing a metal particle dispersion obtained by such production methods, there can be formed a conductive coating film, such as a conductive circuit or an electromagnetic shielding layer, having good characteristics.

컬러필터용 착색 조성물은 투명수지, 그 전구체 또는 그들 혼합물로 이루어지는 착색료 담체와, 착색료 담체에 분산된 녹색 착색료를 포함한다. 녹색 착색료는 구리를 중심금속으로서 갖춘 제1 할로겐화 금속 프탈로시아닌 안료 및 중심금속으로서 Mg, Al, Si, Ti, V, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Ge 및 Sn으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 금속을 갖는 적어도 1종류의 제2 할로겐화 금속 프탈로시아닌 안료로 이루어진다. 제2 할로겐화 금속 프탈로시아닌 안료의 함유량은 녹색 착색료의 전량을 기준으로 하여 1 내지 80몰%이다. 또, 적어도 하나의 적색 필터 세그먼트, 적어도 하나의 청색 필터 세그먼트 및 적어도 하나의 녹색 필터 세그먼트를 구비하고, 적어도 하나의 녹색 필터 세그먼트가 상기 착색 조성물로 형성되어 있는 컬러필터도 제공된다.
