Abstract: A nozzle assembly including a connecting unit is provided to efficiently clean dirt which rigidly sticks to a place to be cleaned, include the connecting unit which connects/disconnects to/from a connection part of a cleaner body, and have different kinds of supplementary functions for easy use. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for authenticating a user using height of the user are provided to enhance convenience of the user by accurately authenticating users without using complicate user authentication information. A face recognition unit(122) detects a face region from an image obtained by a camera, and calculates a first height from an intersection between an elongated line from an FOV(Field of View) and a user face to a head tip of the user. A distance sensor(124) calculates a first distance from the camera to the intersection between the elongated line and the face of the user. A memory(130) stores a third height between a ground and the camera. A key calculator(125) calculates a second height from the camera to the intersection between the elongated line from the FOV and the user. The key calculator uses a moving angle of the camera and the first distance. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for estimating spectrum information of a voice signal are provided to estimate the spectrum information of the voice signal in which a noise peak is removed automatically. A voice signal input unit(101) receives a voice signal. A pitch detecting unit(103) detects a pitch of the voice signal received through the voice signal input unit and provides the detected value to an SSS(Structure Set Size) determining unit(104). A morphology filter(105) performs a morphology operation for the voice signal. The SSS determining unit determines a period of the pitch as an SSS and provides the determined value to the morphology filter. A remainder signal extracting unit(106) extracts peaks from the voice signal in which the morphology operation is performed by using a peak extraction method, extracts a remainder signal region from the extracted peaks, and confirms whether the remainder signal region is a true peak spectrum. A spectral envelope detecting unit(107) interpolates the confirmed true peak spectrum and detects spectral envelopes.

Abstract: A user recognition based beam forming apparatus and a beam forming method thereof are provided to receive a voice signal of a user by forming a beam concentrated on a direction for the particular user. A user recognition based beam forming apparatus(112) comprises a beam forming unit(208), a voice signal receiving unit(204), a voice signal separating unit(216), a user recognizing unit(206), a position measuring unit(210), and a controlling unit(200). The beam forming unit forms a first beam and a second beam for receiving a voice signal. The voice signal receiving unit receives a sound signal including the voice signal said by at least one person, from the first beam. The voice signal separating unit extracts the voice signal from the sound signal and separates the voice signal for each person. The user recognizing unit performs user recognition by determining whether the speaking person corresponding to the separated voice signal is an already recognized person or not. The position measuring unit measures a position of the person, if the speaking person is the already recognized person. The beam forming unit forms the second beam in the direction of the measured position for receiving the voice signal of the already recognized person through the second beam. Abstract: A method for forming a semiconductor device is provided to prevent a halide precursor from etching a semiconductor substrate by forming a deformed silicon on the semiconductor substrate. Abstract: A system for preprocessing a voice signal and a method for extracting feature information of the voice signal are provided to extract the feature information of the voice signal integratedly from the inputted voice signal and offer features of the voice signal requested in various voice processing systems selectively according to characteristics of the various voice processing systems which use or do not use a harmonic peak. A voice signal recognizing unit(112) recognizes a voice signal from an inputted signal, and outputs the recognized voice signal. A voice signal converting unit(116) receives the voice signal, converts the received voice signal into a signal of a frequency domain, and generates a voice signal frame. A morphological analysis unit(104) receives the voice signal frame, and generates a feature frequency domain having a signal waveform according to morphological analysis through a morphological operation. A voice signal feature information extracting unit(120) receives the voice signal frame or the feature frequency domain, and extracts feature information of the voice signal requested in a voice processing system of a next end from the voice signal. A control unit(100) judges whether to extract the feature information of the voice signal by using a harmonic peak of the voice signal frame or to not use the harmonic peak according to a predetermined judgement condition. When the harmonic peak is used, the control unit(100) provides the voice signal frame to the voice signal feature information extracting unit(120). When the harmonic peak is not used, the control unit(100) provides the feature frequency domain according to the morphological analysis result of the voice signal frame to the voice signal feature information extracting unit(120) and extracts the feature information of the voice signal requested in the voice processing system.
