Abstract:
PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a Platycodi Radix extract which inhibits the reduction of a cholinergic material in the brain as well as the destruction of a brain cell caused by excessive formation of glutamate as a neurotransmitter of excitability is provided. Because the composition demonstrates an excellent effect on enhancing cognitive function whiling inhibiting destruction of the brain cell, it can be effectively used as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for degenerative brain disease and a learning and/or memory enhancer. CONSTITUTION: Platycodi Radix is extracted with 5 to 15 times water at 80 to 100deg.C for 1 to 24hr and then filtered. The titled composition contains the Platycodi Radix extract and one or more selected from Rhizoma Ligustici, Gastrodia Rhizoma, Bupleuri Radix, Angelicae Gigantis Radix, Persicae Semen, Cinnamomi Ramulus, Rhei Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Cnidii Rhizoma, Aurantii Nobilis Pericarpium, Alismatis Rhizoma, Coptidis Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix, Hoelen, Paeonia lactiflora Pall. var., Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, Cortex Phellodendri or the like.

상기 식에서, X 는 수소원자, 할로겐원자, C 1-3 알킬기 또는 C 1-2 알콕시기이고, Y 는 수소원자, 할로겐원자, C 1-4 알킬기, C 1-3 알콕시기 또는 메틸티오기이며, Z 는 수소원자, 할로겐원자, 메틸기 또는 메톡시기이고, R 1 는 수소원자, 할로겐원자, 메틸기, 트리플루오로메틸기, 또는 메톡시기이며, R 2 는 수소원자 또는 할로겐원자이다. 또한, 본 발명은 상기 일반식(I)의 화합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 살균제 조성물을 제조하는 것이다.

Brassinolide analogues of formula (I) are prepd. by reacting 2alpha, 3alpha- isopropyliden-dioxy-22-en-stigmastan-6-one with borane, adding dilute alkali soln. and H2O2, and reacting the obtd. cpd. with HCl in tetrahydrofurane to remove the protecting gp. at 1,2- position of the cpd.. In (I), R=a gp. of formula (II), (III) or (IV) . (I) are useful as a plant growth regulator.

1,2,4-Oxadiazole derivs. having an aromatic substit. of formaul (I) are provided. In (I), R is substd. phenylmethyl (by 1-or 2-H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, amino or acetamino), substd. phenyl (by 1- or 2-H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy), pyridine-2-yl or substd. pyrrol-2-yl. The derivs. are e.g. 3-methylphenyl-5(2',4'- dichlorophenoxy) methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole, and are useful as a herbicide.
