Abstract: PURPOSE: A valve device combined with a water trap and purging valve of a fuel cell system is provided to realize package size reduction, component reduction, weight reduction and cost economy by integrating a water trap and a hydrogen purging valve. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a valve device combined with a water trap and purging valve of a fuel cell system comprises the steps of: storing water in a small reservoir connected to the anode output end of a fuel cell stack; periodically demanding hydrogen purging containing impurity of the anode; attempting hydrogen purging containing impurity while discharging water by opening an exhaust valve of the small reservoir for a certain time(T); determining the success of hydrogen purging containing impurity; and if the hydrogen purging containing impurity is not succeeded, repetitively retrying the hydrogen purging containing impurity by opening the exhaust valve for a certain time(T+1) or more.
