Abstract: PURPOSE: A multilayered brake disc and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain braking performance of a friction surface and to minimize a minute crack formed on the friction layer. CONSTITUTION: A multilayered brake disc is comprised by combining a friction layer(200) and a load unit(100) comprised of silicon carbide, silicon and a carbon component. The friction layer comprises a surface layer(220) and a transition layer(240) laminated between the surface layer and the load unit. The transition layer is comprised of 50-70:7-13:25-35 of a composition(wt%) of a silicon carbide: a silicon: a carbon.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A brake disc using various materials is provided to ensure the strength of the disc for enduring the maximum braking torque by strongly combining through the strap and the ring-shaped rivet. CONSTITUTION: A brake disc using various materials comprises a disc plate(100), a hat part(200), a strap(400), a rivet(600). The disc plate comprises a rivet hole(162) which is formed on the protrusion between coupling grooves. The disc plate includes a plurality of coupling grooves along the inner circumferential surface of the inserting hole. The hat part is combined on the inserting hole of the disc plate and formed with aluminum alloy. Multiple protrusions for coupling on the outer circumferential surface on the hat part are corresponded to the coupling grooves. The strap is positioned to straddle the rivet holes of the disc plate and the hat part. The rivet fixes and passes through the strap and rivet hole.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing process of brake drum and a brake drum manufactured by the same is provided to reduce weight of a vehicle by making a frame of a vehicle with an aluminum material of light alloy. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing process of brake drum comprises the next step. A brake braking side and a housing are welded at a temperature of 500°C or greater when a housing(2) of Al-Si-Mg and a brake surface of grey cast iron are combined. Residual stress is removed from the grey cast iron when the brake braking side is heated at 600°C. In the casting process of the brake braking heated at 600°C, the housing of Al-Si-Mg is casted at 700~800°C in order to induce the combining between the housing of Al-Si-Mg and the brake surface of grey cast iron.
