    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an admixture useful as a water-reducing agent and E slump preventive agent of a cement composition by using a neutralized cocondensate of a specific naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate with a specified phenolic compound as a component. CONSTITUTION:A cement admixture consisting essentially of a neutralized cocondensate of a condensate (prepolymer) of naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde having 3000-130000 average molecular weight with (A) a phenolic compound expressed by the formula. In the formula, R denotes H or 1-3C straight-chain or branched chain alkyl group; X denotes H or sulfone group. When the average molecular weight of the aforementioned prepolymer is =13000, dispersibility of the resultant cocondensate and slump properties are deteriorated.

CONSTITUTION:Phenol or its derivative charaterized by using an amino terminator as the essential component and one or >=2 kinds of compds. selected from melamine, its derivative and urea, as required, are copolycondensed with formaldehyde to obtain a cement admixture with the condensate as the essential component. CONSTITUTION:Since the workability of concrete is kept for a long time by this invention, the cement dispersant is used for various purposes. This dispersant is used when the pumping of concrete is suspended or used as the cement milk or mortar grouting assistant. The dispersant is also effectively used to prevent separation of materials and to keep the flowability of the cement formulation placed by a tremie, underwater concrete, concrete in the continuous underground wall, shotcrete, centrifugally formed concrete, vibrated and compacted concrete, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform the dispersion of cement in the region of extremely highly reducing water content and to improve the flowability, etc., of concrete by adding a blended material consisting of a salt of condensation product of specific aromatic sulfonic acid with folmaldehyde and water-insoluble polymer or metal complex with blended cement. CONSTITUTION:A cement dispersing agent is produced by mixing (A) salt of condensation product of aromatic sulfonic acid with folmaldehyde (e.g. salt of condensation product of naphthalenesulfonic acid with formaldehyde) composed essentially of a high condensation product in which the salt of condensation product of aromatic sulfonic acid with formaldehyde having =20000 with (B) water-insoluble polymer or water-insoluble metal complex (e.g. zinc complex of isobutylene/maleic anhydride copolymer). Further, suitable mixing ratio is in such a range that the weight ratio of solid content of the component (B) to the component (A) is regulated to 0.5/100 to 20/100. By adding this dispersing agent to blended cement, cement can be excellently dispersed even in the region of extremely highly reduced water content where water- cement ratio is 18-30%.

CONSTITUTION:A dispersant is prepared from a polymer having a narrow M.W. distribution width obtained by subjecting a vinyl polymer or alkylene oxide polymer having surface activity to oxidative polymerization reaction using ozone, light and peroxide. As the vinyl polymer having surface activity, there is a polymer of acrylic acid, maleic acid or styrenesulfonic acid or a derivative thereof. As peroxide used in the oxidative polymerization reaction, one kind or more of inorg. peroxide or org. peroxide is used. In the oxidative polymerization reaction, it is pref. to dissolve 100pts.wt. of the polymer in 100-200pts.wt. of a solvent and to add 0.1-20pts.wt. of a metal ion to the resulting solution.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an admixture for a concrete improving a separating resistance of materials, an initial strength, etc., by specifying a blending ratio of a copolymer, a high quality water reducing agent, a water-soluble polymer and a defoaming agent, a molar ratio of monomers forming the copolymer and the average molecular weight of the copolymer. SOLUTION: This admixture for a concrete is prepared by blending 100 pts.wt. mixture comprising a copolymer, a high quality water reducing agent and a water-soluble polymer having a ratio of (35-90) to (5-40) to (5-60), (with the proviso that the total thereof is 100 pts.wt.), with 0.01-30 pts.wt. defoaming agent. The copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing monomers of formula I and II. The molar ratio of the monomer of formula I to that of formula II is (1/90) to (50/50). A weight average molecular weight (measured by a gel- permeation chromatography method and reduced to a sodium polystryrenesulfonate) is 3,000-200,000. An aromatic water reducing agent is used as the high quality water reducing agent. A polyalkylene glycol derivative is used as the water-soluble polymer. A product having an excellent surface appearance is obtained by using the admixture for the concrete.
