    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slipperiness improving agent granulate that maintains excellent slipperiness between clothes to be cleaned, washes clothes with a light force, increases the rubbing rate (rubbing time per time) of laundry and facilitates hand washing without causing undissolved residue of potassium metaphosphate and adhesion to clothes when clothes are soaked for washing and when not soaked for washing and a detergent composition containing the slipperiness improving agent granulate for washing. SOLUTION: The slipperiness improving agent granulate for washing comprises potassium metaphosphate having a viscosity of aqueous solution measured by the following conditions of ≥200 mPa s. Potassium phosphate in an amount of 2 g is added to 50 mL of water, stirred for one minute, mixed with a solution obtained by dissolving 4 g of sodium tripolyphosphate in 50 mL of water, stirred for 3 hours and a viscosity is measured by a Brookfield viscometer at 25°C.
