Abstract: PURPOSE:To accelerate boiling heat transfer by a heat exchanger tube by forming an uneven metallic layer on the wall surface of the tube by plating so as to increase the surface area. CONSTITUTION:An uneven metallic layer is formed on the wall surface of a heat exchanger tube by plating with a plating soln. contg. an oxyethylene surfactant and low concn. chloride ions as additives. At this time, a counter electrode put in the plating soln. along the inner wall of the heat exchanger tube is made of a metal nobler than the metal for plating. In the 1st stage, the metal for plating is deposited on the counter electrode by using the wall surface of the heat exchanger tube as the anode and the counter electrode as the cathode. In the 2nd stage, the wall surface of the heat exchanger tube is plated by using the wall surface as the cathode and the counter electrode as the anode. The electric capacity in the 2nd stage is made larger than the electric capacity in the 1st stage.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a copper plating layer having tree plate-like ruggedness on the inside surface of a heat transfer pipe and to produce the heat transfer pipe having an excellent effect of transferring boiling heat by circulating a copper plating liquid contg. a specific surface active agent and chloride ion in the heat transfer pipe and conducting electricity between said pipe and a counter electrode therein. CONSTITUTION:The counter electrode 14 consisting of a Ti bar coated with Pt is disposed into a Cu heat transfer pipe 10 provided with heat radiating fins 3 made of thin Al sheets on the outside surface. DC is conducted to the pipe 10 as a cathode and the electrode 14 as an anode by a DC power source 13 while the Cu plating liquid 9 in a plating cell 7 is circulated in the pipe 10 by a pump 12 and a connecting pipe 11. The plating liquid contg. copper sulfate and sulfuric acid and contg. 100mg/l polyethylene glycol as an oxyethylene surface active agent and 0.001X10 -2.0X10 mol/l chloride ion such as HCl is used for the plating liquid. The Cu plating layer having the tree plate-like ruggedness is formed on the inside surface of the pipe 10. Such pipe has excellent heat transfer effect when used for a heat exchanger in which gaseous freon is used.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a heat transfer pipe having an excellent effect of accelerating boiling heat transfer by circulating a copper plating liquid having a specific surface active agent in the heat transfer pipe made of copper and conducting DC to a counter electrode in the pipe first as an anode then as a cathode. CONSTITUTION:The counter electrode 15 is disposed in the Cu heat transfer pipe 10 provided with heat radiating fins 3 made of thin Al sheets on the outside surface and the Cu plating liquid in a plating cell 7 is circulated therein by a pump 12 and a connecting pipe 11. The DC is first conducted to the electrode 15 as the cathode and the pipe 10 as the anode by a DC power source. The inside wall surface of the pipe 10 is eluted by electrolysis and the Cu deposits on the electrode 15. A switch 13 is changed over to conduct the DC to the electrode 15 as the anode and the pipe 10 as the cathode. The plating liquid consists essentially of CuSO4 and is incorporated therein with polyoxyethylene oleyl ether as a surface active agent and a low concn. of hydrochloric acid and therefore the tree plate-like rugged Cu plating layer is formed on the inside surface of the pipe 10. The heat transfer pipe having the excellent heat transfer effect is thus obtd.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of whitening and cracking of a synthetic resin sheet when being cooled by a method in which a synthetic resin sheet of a given thickness is subjected to monoaxial stretching process at 120-150 deg.C, and the stress-concentrating portion of the sheet is subjected to a stretching process in the direction orthogonal to the stretching direction of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin, e.g., ABS resin, etc., is melted at about 220 deg.C in an extruder 7, passed through a die 8 to regulate its thickness to a fixed one, passed through a polishing roll 9 to give it a gloss, and hen passed through stretching process rolls 11 at 120-150 deg.C to obtain a sheet 10'. The sheet 10' is heated and covered on a vacuum mold 12 with a vacuum hole, pressed into the mold 12 by means of a plug 13 from above, and then molded by evacuation to vacuum. In this case, a rib 5 for rack receiver as a stress-concentrating portion 6 is formed and stretched even to the direction (y) orthogonal to the stretching direction (x) of the sheet 10', and therefore, the portion 6 of the inside box 2 is stretched to two directions.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waiting power without shortening the time elapsed until starting power supply very much, even when the outdoor air temperature is low. SOLUTION: A system comprising a compressor 1, a crankcase heater 2, a microcomputer 3, a program memory 4a, a delivery temperature sensor 5, and an outdoor air temperature sensor 6 is provided with means for supplying power to the crankcase heater, when the difference between the delivery temperature of the compressor and the outdoor air temperature becomes equal to or lower than a specified value during stoppage of the compressor. Since the stat of power supply can be determined depending on the outdoor air temperature, the time elapsed until the start of power supply does not become very short, even when the outdoor air temperature is low and so that waiting power can be reduced, while prolonging the lifetime of the crankcase heater.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing dewing in an indoor machine without deteriorating a cooling capacity. SOLUTION: When a wet-bulb temperature value obtained by operating values detected by an indoor temperature sensor 11 and an indoor humidity sensor 12 through an indoor wet-bulb temperature operating device, the value of an indoor heat exchanger capacity obtained by operating a value detected by an outdoor air temperature sensor 17 through an outdoor heat exchanger operating device, and the value of air volume of the indoor machine are coincident; volume operating device M4 commands the increase of air volume to an air volume control device M3 to prevent the dewing in the indoor machine. Thereafter, when the wet-bulb temperature value, the outdoor heat exchanger capacity value and the air volume value of the indoor machine are deviated from a condition, the air volume operating device M4 commands to the air volume control device M3 to return to the initial set air volume, whereby the dewing in the indoor machine can be prevented without deteriorating the cooling capacity and the abolition of water absorbing members or the reduction of insulating materials in the indoor machine can be contrived.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crushing of molecular sieves in a drier. SOLUTION: A drier 5 comprises a filter 14 situated in a drier container 13 and capturing a foreign matter entering the drier container 13; a porous plate 15 situated in the drier container 13 and filling a space, consisting of three members of the porous plate, the drier container 13 and the filter 14, with molecular sieves 12 for holding; and a shield plate 16 situated between the filter 14 and the porous plate 15 and partitioning the molecular sieves 12 in a filling part in a manner to shield them from a flow of a refrigerant and forming a refrigerant passage opening, through which a refrigerant passes, between the drier container 13 and the shield plate by means of a notch 17 formed in the outer periphery of the shield plate 16. The drier is situated between a heat exchanger and an expansion mechanism with the refrigerant passage opening brought into an up state in the direction of gravity, and breakage of the molecular sieves 12 is prevented from occurring.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple replacement of a dryer. SOLUTION: In a cycle which is formed by connecting sequentially a compressor 2, a four-way valve 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, the dryer 7, an expansion valve or a capillary tube 8, 11, an indoor heat exchanger, an accumulator 13, etc., by piping and circulates a refrigerant, molecular sieves 5 are provided in the central part of the dryer 7 and a filter 6 catching dust, metal powder and other foreign substances is provided in front and the rear of the sieves or on one side thereof. The dryer 7 is fixed so that it can be removed outside the outdoor unit 14 and isolated from vibration, while valves 17 and 18 for opening and closing the piping are provided for the piping outside the outdoor unit in front and the rear of the dryer 7. According to this constitution, the dryer 7 can be replaced simply.

SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger a3 contained in a housing of an indoor unit, a drain pan M5, a drain pump M6 for draining the drain stored in the pan M5, and an ozone water supply unit M150 for supplying an ozone water to the exchanger a3 and the pan M5. The ozone water is supplied from the unit M150 to the exchanger a3 and the pan M5 at an arbitrarily predetermined time during operating of the indoor unit to remove bacteria in the exchanger a3 as the main air channel of the conditioner and the bacteria breeding place and the pan M5 and to supply the clean air to the room.
