    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled yarn having suppressed frictional resistance of surface and improved wear resistance, by carrying out conjugated spinning in such a way that polyester containing a specific ratio of organic silicone compound (e.g., dimethylpolysiloxane, etc.) is contained in the surface of yarn. CONSTITUTION:An organic silicone compound (e.g., dimethylpolysiloxane, etc.) is added to a reaction system usually in a period from end of esterification to end of polycondensation of polyester, 0.1-30wt% silicon is added to the polyester, and conjugated spinning is carried out in such a way that the prepared polyester is contained at least part (preferably the whole) of yarn surface, to give the desired yarn. Conjugated yarn of sheath core type comprising the organic silicone compound-containing polyester as a sheath component is preferable as the conjugated yarn, and the sheath component has preferably 8-20% section of yarn. EFFECT:Sewing thread suppressing a phenomenon called ''FUJIYORI'' wherein a single yarn (twisted yarn) is entangled can be provided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A specific amount of a hydrophobic silica made by the dry method, with alkyl groups on its surface and blocked silanol groups, having a specific particle size on the average in its primary particles is added to polyester, the mixture is subjected to high-speed spinning, then eluted on the surface to give the titled fiber inhibiting the fiber surface from roughening by cagulating particles. CONSTITUTION:Polyester containing 0.12-1.0wt% of hydrophobic silica particles made by the dry method, which have less than 100mmu average size in primary particles, have alkyl groups on the particle surfaces and blocked silanol groups on the surfaces, is extruded through the spinneret 11, passed through the cooling zone 12 to effect solidification and give yarn Y. A finishing oil is applied to the yarn by means of the applicator 13, the first goddet roller 14 and the second goddet roller 15 are used to regulate its yarn route and yarn speed and the yarn is wound up around the winder 16 at a speed of higher than 5,000m/min. Further, the resultant yarn is treated with a solubilizing or decomposing solvent to elute the surface, thus producting the objective yarn.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled fibers, consisting of two polyester polymers having different solubilities, having a specific readily soluble polymer near the fibrous surfaces, and useful for high-class woven and knitted fabrics having improved scroop feeling, elegant gloss and color developing property. CONSTITUTION:Composite fibers, obtained by spinning (B) a polyester prepared by copolymerizing ester unts containing 2.4mol% or more metallic sulfonate, e.g. a mixed polyester containing 3-80% copolyester of 2.4mol% or more 5-sodium sulfoisophthalae and 70mol% or more ethylene terephthalate as a readily soluble copolymer and (A) a polyester containing 80mol% or more ethylene terephthalate units as a slightly soluble polymer, drawing the resultant yarns to give drawn yarns having the readily soluble polymer (B) positioned at 3-12 sites of the fibrous surfaces and placed as a tapered wedge-like form in the slightly soluble polymer (A) to the interior of the fibers, and dissolving and removing the readily soluble polymer (B) by treating the drawn yarns with an aqueous solution of an alkali, and having grooves on the surfaces thereof.
