    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester composition excelling in antistatic properties and forming a finely irregular surface by mixing a polyester resin with Li, Ca and P-containing particles precipitated from the polyester polymerization system and a metal organophosphoric. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyester based on polyethylene terephthalate is mixed with 0.01-3 pts.wt., desirably 0.05-1 pt.wt. particles containing Li, Ca and P (the contents of the elements precipitated in the particles are each 0.1-10wt.%) precipitated as insolubles from the reaction system during the production of a polyester and 0.1-5 pts.wt., desirably 0.2-3 pts.wt. metal organosulfonate of the formula: (RSO3)nM (wherein R is a 6C or higher alkyl or an aralkyl; M is an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; and n is 1 when M is an alkali metal and 2 when M is an alkaline earth metal) to obtain a polyester composition for film of good slipperiness.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester composition having antistatic properties and excellent dispersity and heat resistance of antistatic agent by mixing metallic salt of organic sulfonic acid as antistatic agent into polyester copolymerized with dicarboxylic acid having metallic base of sulfonic acid. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. copolymerized polyester having acid component in which >=70mol%, preferably >=80mol% is terephthalic acid and 0.05-10mol%, preferably 0.05-7mol% is dicarboxylic acid having metallic base of sulfonic acid (preferably 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate) is mixed with (B) 0.05-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-3 pts.wt. metallic salt of organic sulfonic acid expressed by the formula [R is >=6C alkyl, aryl or alkylaryl; M is alkali (earth) metal; n is 1 or 2] (preferably sodium salt of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid), preferably before ester interchange or esterification and polycondensation of the component A.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber which has improved alkali hydrolysis resistance and improved light resistance, has excellent dyeability with cation dyes and disperse dyes and is suitable for blending or the like by spinning a polyester copolymerized with a specific aliphatic glycol component having a side chain. SOLUTION: This fiber comprises a polyester copolymerized with a side chain-having 6-25C aliphatic glycol component such as 3,3-dimethyl-1,2-butanediol preferably in an amount of 0.1-50 mol.%. The aliphatic glycol component is preferably an alkylene oxide adduct. The polyester is preferably copolymerized with one or more kinds of components selected from the group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component, a glycol component and a polyoxyalkylene glycol component in addition to the side chain-having 6-25C aliphatic glycol component, and is preferably further copolymerized with a cation dye-dyeing site component preferably in an amount of 0.1-10 mol.% based on all the acid components.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain polyester fibers excellent in alkali hydrolytic resistance and dyeability and suitable for combined filaments and mixed use with other polyester fibers by copolymerizing a diol component and an acid component with prescribed amounts of respective specific copolymerization components. SOLUTION: The alkali hydrolysis-resistant polyester fibers are obtained by copolymerizing a dimer diol ethylene oxide adduct represented by formula I [R1 and R2 are each an alkyl; R3 and R4 are each an alkylene; the sum total of carbons in R1, R2, R3 and R4 is 4-36; (n) and (m) are each 1-14] and/or formula II (R1' and R2' are each an alkyl; R3' and R4' are each an alkylene; the sum total of carbons in R1', R2', R3' and R4' is 27-39; n' and m' are each 1-14) in an amount of 0.2-10 wt.% based on the total diol component and further a cationic dyeing site component, e.g. 5-sulfoisophthalic acid in an amount of 0.1-10 mol% based on the total acid component in a polyester comprising terephthalic acid as a main acid component and ethylene glycol as a main diol component.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented film of excellent smoothness capable of restraining oligomer on a surface of a film by a method wherein the laminated film is prepared with a copolymeric polyester composition film containing sulfonic acid metallic salt derivative and higher fatty acid or its ester, or the like. SOLUTION: A laminated film is provided wherein a film having a thickness of 0.5μm or over composed of a copolymer polyester composition in which a composition (A) and/or (B) is contained by 0.01 to 10wt.% and its principal ingredient is terephthalic acid on its ester formable derivative and ethylene glycol, is arranged by at least one layer. The composition (A) is a sulfonic acid metallic salt derivative expressed by the formula. In the formula, R indicates a 5-30C alkyl group, X indicates an aromatic group, n indicates 0 or 1, and M indicates an alkali metal element. The composition (B) is a 10-33C higher fatty acid or its ester.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain polyester composition which gives a film excellent in traveling characteristics and abrasion resistance by incorporating specified polyimide particles into a polyester. CONSTITUTION:A polyester comprising, e.g. a homopolyester such as polyethylene terephthalate or a copolyester composed mainly thereof is mixed with polyimide particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.01-3mum and a strength (S10), at 10% deformation under an external force, of 3-30kgf/mm . Examples of the polyimide include those having a structure of any one of formulas I to V. It can easily be produced in particulate for by a known process; i.e. a tetracarboxylic acid anhydride is reacted with a diamine in an appropriate organic solvent to synthesize a polyimide precursor comprising a polyamic acid, and the obtained product is precipitated in a poor solvent for the polyamic acid, such as methanol, to form particles. The amount of the polyimide particles to be incorporated should be 0.01-5 wt.% based on the polyester.
