Abstract: PURPOSE:To simultaneously use two or more terminal equipments in one earth station by providing a first modulating circuit for executing a modulation output by changing a transmission frequency band, and a second demodulating circuit for executing a demodulation by changing a demodulation synchronizing speed. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an earth station 1 which has passed through a communication satellite 3 is received by a central control station 2, and a receiving signal is demodulated by a second demodulating circuit 22. When a line control circuit 25 receives a calling signal from other terminal equipment 11b than, for instance, a terminal equipment 11a in the earth station 1 being in the course of communication already, a synchronizing speed control circuit 32 leads out a demodulation synchronizing speed signal of two times and generates a line allocating signal so as to supply said signal to the second demodulating circuit 22. The first control signal extracting circuit 14 of the earth station 1 extracts the line allocating signal from in the demodulating signal and supplies it to the first modulating circuit and a modulation frequency band is doubled. In such a way, plural terminal equipments can be operated simultaneously without raising the transmission power.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allocate many slave stations with a low access line utilizing rate through a few channel numbers by assigning a private access channel to a slave station having a high access line utilizing rate and assigning a common access channel to a slave station having a low access line utilizing rate. CONSTITUTION:A time slot N1 being a private access channel is assigned to a large sized earth station 201 having lots of traffics and then selecting an assignment request signal frequently. The transmission of a signal from other large sized earth stations 201-205 and small sized earth stations 101-1040 is inhibited in the time slot N1. Similarly, as to the other earth stations 202-205, exclusive time slots N2-N5 are assigned. Five time slots are used in common in the small sized earth stations 101-1040 having less traffic and rarely sending the assignment request signal. Thus, many stations with a low traffic are accommodated more than a conventional system.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To send a low speed call with efficient utilization of line by sending plural low speed calls in the lump even if the TDMA timing control in matching with a high speed call is used. CONSTITUTION:Earth stations 501-50N identify whether or not a call during communication managed by one's own station is a high speed call or a low speed call, and TDMA transmission/reception is applied with an opposite earth station by using TDMA timing in matching with a high speed call in case of the high speed call. On the other hand, in case of the low speed call, an address representing an opposite earth station is added to multiplex plural calls and the result is sent to a low speed relay earth station 20. The low speed relay earth station 20 reconstitutes a data at each earth station receiving the low speed call and multiplexes it and sends the result to each reception earth station.

CONSTITUTION:A radio channel is sectioned into a time slot of a prescribed length and plural slave stations S1-S5 send a data at random to the master station in synchronism with the time slot. When the traffic of the radio channel is increased and the data collision takes place between the slave stations or the occurrence of data collision is expected, the system is changed over into the time division multiplex system.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To establish main frame synchronization by using a reception signal having phase uncertainty to detect a received synchronizing signal including the 1st and 2nd synchronizing signals and a signal having a different phase thereby establishing a sub-frame synchronization and comparing the signal with the received synchronizing signal before one sub-frame period. CONSTITUTION:The frame synchronization circuit consists of a frame signal detection circuit 11, an OR circuit 12, a sub-frame synchronizing circuit 13, a differential detection circuit 14 and a main frame synchronizing circuit 15. Since the 1st synchronizing signal MF and the 2nd synchronizing signal SF are in the relation where 0, 1 levels are inverted, the sub-frame synchronization is attained without increasing the number of detectors especially. Since it is utilized that the reception synchronizing signal received at present and the received synchronizing signal existing before one sub-frame period differ at the tip of the main frame only and the main frame synchronization is established by comparing the both, the sure main frame synchronization is established without using a main frame detection detector 15 and a sub-frame detection detector 13 separately.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the quality of signal and to attain effective encoding, by detecting the period of pitch of a voice signal for obtaining an average power of the voice signal within a time being an integer multiple of the period of pitch, and encoding the result. CONSTITUTION:The voice signal (v) is applied to a pitch extracting circuit 1 and to an accumulating adder 3 via a delay circuit 2. Further, the circuit 2 supplies the voice signal (v) to the adder 3 until the circuit 1 detects the period of pitch of the voice signal (v). The adder 3 performs adding processing within a time being an integer multiple of the period of pitch, e.g., a time limited to N-times the time of the period of pitch, with counting a clock signal by means of a built-in counter. When the adder 3 obtains the amplitude voltage of the voice signal (v) and accumulates the voltage, the average voltage value of the voice signal (v) is obtained with a divider 4 dividing the summed value with the N. Thus, the average power of the voice signals within one frame is applied to the encoding circuit and the signals are encoded digitally at each frame.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the entire scale and to improve the S/N of a reproducing signal, by using a predictive filter taking partial autocorrelation and spectrum versus parameter as coefficients for both an adaptive type predictive encoder and an encoder. CONSTITUTION:A predictive coefficient is extracted by an analysis circuit 37 from a signal Sn supplied to a terminal 31 and it is applied to a predictive filter 36 at the transmission side and a predictive filter 45 at the reception side, respectively. A substractor 34 performs subtraction between signal Sn set from the terminal 31' and a signal Sn' sent from an adder 35 and supplies an output signal 6n to an encoder 33 for quantization and then to a decoder 43 at the reception side vai a terminal 38. An output signal 6n' is outputted to an adder 35 via a decoder 34 at the transmission side. The adder 35 adds the signal 6n' to an output signal gamman of the filter 36 and gives the result to a subtractor 32 as a predictive signal sn'. The signal of a decoder 43 is added to an output signal of the filter 45 and the added signal is outputted as a reproducing signal from a terminal 46.
