PURPOSE: A diabetes management method, a diabetes management apparatus, and a diabetes data display apparatus are provided to store electrically measured diabetes data and systematically display the data. CONSTITUTION: A diabetes management method comprises a step(S100) of measuring diabetes data; a step(S102) of displaying diabetes data measurement progress; a step(S104) of displaying diabetes data measurement time; a step(S106) of storing diabetes data upon completion of measurement; and a step(S108) of displaying diabetes data. A diabetes management apparatus includes a diabetes data measuring unit for electrically measuring diabetes data; a first display unit for displaying diabetes data measurement progress; and a second display unit for displaying diabetes data.

PURPOSE: Mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and a kit for serodiagnosis of leprosy containing the same are provided, thereby substituting expensive PGL-I with the cheap mimotope peptide of PGL-I. Therefore, the cost for serodiagnosis of leprosy can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: Mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae have the amino acid sequence of WTLGPYV, WRLGPYV or WTLGPYM. A conjugate of the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and bovine serum albumin(BSA) is provided. A kit for serodiagnosis of leprosy contains the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae or the conjugate of the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and bovine serum albumin(BSA).

PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for measuring the friction force in the biomaterial and an artifact which measures the friction force between the biomaterial constituting the animal organ and the various materials being operated in contact with the biomaterial exactly in an environment simulating in vivo environment. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(10) for measuring the friction force in the biomaterial and an artifact comprises a stage(20), a sensing part for measuring the friction force(30), a specimen guide unit(40), a temperature control unit(50), a spray unit(60) and an amp(70). The specimen(80) is installed in the stage(20) so as to be inserted into and in contact with any biomaterial and artifact. The sensing part for measuring the friction force(30) responses to the strain and senses and signalizes the friction force according to the response. The temperature control unit(50) measures the temperature of the stage and specimen guide unit and keeps the temperature constant. The spray unit(60) makes pH of any biomaterial and artifact same and sprays the solution having the osmotic pressure same as the osmotic pressure of the biomaterial. The amp(70) amplifies a signal input from the sensing part for measuring the friction force and applies the signal to an external computer.

PURPOSE: A channel estimator of an OFDM system using a multi-antenna and a method for estimating a channel are provided to estimate accurately the channel by transmitting a training symbol to a sub-carrier region. CONSTITUTION: An OFDM system for transmitting data by using two or more transmission antennas includes a process for dividing plural training symbols corresponding to the number of transmission antennas into plural training symbol groups and process for transmitting sub-carriers including the training symbols of the divided training symbol groups. The training symbols are transmitted in a constant interval by one of the transmission antennas.

PURPOSE: A pyrolizing device using ultrasonic waves and uses thereof are provided to enable decomposed gas produced by pyrolysis performed by a reactor to be treated with ultrasonic waves, thereby promoting movement of wastes, increasing a recovery efficiency of reclaimable wastes, and reducing energy consumption by maximizing a heated area of the reactor. CONSTITUTION: The pyrolizing device comprises a waste supply portion(10) for inducing waste polymeric compounds; a pyrolizing portion(30) connected to an end of the waste supply portion(10) and pyrolizing the induced waste polymeric compounds; an ultrasonic treatment portion(54) connected to an end of the waste supply portion(10) and performing ultrasonic treatment on decomposed gas generated from the pyrolizing portion(30); and a withdrawal portion(50) connected to an end of the ultrasonic treatment portion(54) and condensing the decomposed gas having passed the ultrasonic treatment portion(54).

PURPOSE: A portable electrical stimulator for recovery of motor palsy is provided to enable a custom treatment for an individual user by overcoming the drawbacks of conventional electrical stimulator and automatically set stimulation waves, stimulation time and stimulation strength according to the symptoms of a patient. CONSTITUTION: The portable electrical stimulator includes a keypad part(110); a time control part(210); a frequency control part(220); a mode control part(230); a stimulation wave generating part(510); and a stimulation outputting part(520). When an operation mode signal received from the keypad part(110) is an automatic mode signal, the time control part(210) controls stimulation ramps up/down time differently according to a stimulation region and controls stimulation on/off time differently by steps. The frequency control part(220) controls stimulation wave and stimulation frequency differently according to a stimulation region.

CONSTITUTION: A device of an optical coherence tomography includes an LED light source(100) equipped with an LED(102) generating light as voltage is applied thereto and a concave mirror(110) installed at a front of the LED light source(100) for collecting light generated from the LED(102). A convex lens(120) is provided to collect light at one spot by receiving light from the concave mirror(110). An optical fiber(130) transfers light by mixing light having various wavelengths. A voltage controller(150) is connected to the LED(102) of the LED light source(100) in order to adjust voltage applied to the LED light source(100).

CONSTITUTION: The composite coating layer containing quasicrystalline phase by thermal spray coating method is characterized in that the composite coating layer is formed by thermal spray coating a mixed powder obtained by mixing an aluminum based quasicrystalline alloy powder with at least any one powder selected from metal, intermetallic compound, ceramic, cermet and polymer powders on a metal or intermetallic compound matrix.
