Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible copper-clad laminated board having excellent heat resistance, high bending resistance, high peeling strength and excellent body strength by forming a film of polyimide generated by reacting specific aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with aromatic primary diamine on a copper foil. CONSTITUTION:Aromatic primary diamine represented by a formula 2a and aromatic primary diamine represented by a formula 2b are mixed at the ratio of 90-40:10-60 of equivalent ratio, a copper foil is coated with organic solvent solution of polyamide acid generated by reacting it with aromatic tetracarboxylic acid anhydride represented by a formula 1, then heated, dried, dehydrated to form a polyimide film layer on the foil. An operation for coating the foil with the solution is desirably conducted by casting. More specifically, polyamide acid solution is discharged from a film forming slit to the surface of the foil to form a coating film layer having a uniform thickness. The thickness of the layer is so adjusted as to obtain 1-1000mum of finally obtained polyimide film layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit uniform and easy correction of the interlaminar difference in dimension of a FMCL without producing any wrinkle, by a method wherein the FMCL is approached to a first blade edge and is passed through a second blade edge, provided in parallel to the first blade edge, from a direction reverse to the case of the first blade edge while bringing it in contact with the second blade edge. CONSTITUTION:A guide 2 is provided before a first blade 3 and after a second blade 5 near a blade edge 4 is parallel to the same. A FMCL 1 advances into a direction, shown by an arrow sign in a diagram, and passes the guide 2 while coming in contact with the lower surface of the same, thereafter, passes through the edge 4 of the blade 3, then, passes the edge of a second blade 5 while bringing the opposite side thereof in contact with the edge of the blade 5 and, successively, it passes through the guide 6 while coming in contact with the upper or lower surface of the guide 6. The guide 2 in contact with the FMCL 1, and the contact parts between two blade edges as well as the guide 6 and the FMCL are all parallel and provided with good configurations, excellent in straightness, in the same manner while distances B, D are preferably less than 300mm and especially preferably less than 100mm.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To correct the dimension difference between layers effectively by sliding a continuous flexible metal foil laminated layer having a metal foil and a polymer film in the tensioned state in the longitudinal direction, with polymer on the inner side, on the curved surface of a specific bar. CONSTITUTION:A continuous flexible metal foil laminate (FMCL) having a metal foil and a polymer film is slided in the tensioned state in the longitudinal direction, with the polymer on the inner side, on the curved surface of a bar provided at an angle of 0-80 degrees in the width direction. Further, FMCL is slided in the tensioned state in the longitudinal direction, with the polymer on the inner side, on the curved surface of a bar provided at an angle of 0--80 degrees in the FMCL width direction. Either or both of the two processes are carried out one or more to correct the dimension difference between the FMCL metal foil layer and the polymer layer. The suitable tension at the time of the tensioned state is 50g/cm or more, while the suitable FMCL temperature is 200 deg.C or lower.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a thermosetting compsn. having improved toughness, electrical insulating properties and moisture proofness, comprising a thermosetting resin, a specified graft polymer and a silicone rubber non-compatible with the thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. comprises a thermosetting resin (a), a graft polymer (b) of a silicone intermediate and a non-silicone resin compatible with the resin (a), a silicone rubber (c) non-compatible with the resin (a) and optionally a hardener (d) for the resin (a), in which the silicone rubber (c) is dispersed in the resin (a). Examples of the thermosetting resin are pref. formaldehyde condensation or polyaddition resins. The curable resin compsn. is intended for the production of electrical and electronic parts which require good insulating properties and moistureproofness in particular. From the view points of these properties, addition type and polyaddition type silicone rubbers are preferred.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a cold-curing coating composition having excellent stain resistance, water resistance and crack resistance, and long pot-life, by adding a basic catalyst to an aqueous dispersion of a halogen-containing vinyl copolymer. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous dispersion of a vinyl polymer obtained by the copolymerization of (A) 0.05-15wt%, pref. 0.5-10wt% of a halogen-containing vinyl monomer of formula I [R1 is H, methyl or halogen; R2 is X (X is halogen), group of formula X-R3 (R3 is alkyl or hydroxyalkyl), formula II, formula III (R4 is acid phosphoxyalkyl), etc.], pref. a bromine-containing monomer and (B) a vinyl monomer other than cited above, esp. an aromatic vinyl monomer, is mixed with a basic catalyst (e.g. amine) in an amount to attain the pH of the aqueous dispersion of 6-12, pref. 7-10. USE:Coating of the outer wall e.g. made of cement, interior wall, steel plate, plastic plate, etc., adhesive, etc.
