PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress operational confusion and wrong operation by a user, while a plurality of source units have been connected to a sink unit. SOLUTION: In step S1, the source unit transmits a display state confirmation request to the sink unit. Accordingly, the sink unit transmits a display state confirmation notification to the source unit in step S11. The source unit determines whether the display state of the sink unit is a division display state in step S2, and stops the superimposition of menu display in step S3 when it is determined that the display state is the division display state. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the strength of a mounting part between a picture display part and a front cabinet without longitudinally shifting the location of the front cabinet relative to the picture display part. SOLUTION: In forwarding to the area wherein it is enough to fulfill a comparatively light fall test criterion, mounting flanges 26 of a CRT 14 are matched with a surface 34 of a mounting seat 32 of a front cabinet 22, a first tapping screw T1 is coupled while screwing a first boss 36 from a screw inserting hole 2602, and the mounting flanges 26 are fixed on the surface 34 of the mounting seat 32. In forwarding to the area wherein it is required to fulfill a severe fall test criterion, a reinforce plate 28 is overlapped on the mounting flanges 26, a second tapping screw T2 is coupled while screwing a second boss 40 from a screw inserting hole 2804, and the reinforce plate 28 is fixed on the surface 34 of the mounting seat 32 over the mounting flanges 26. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost and to improve the reliability of wiring by decreasing the number of transmission wires between electric circuit boards of an electronic apparatus, such as a camera integrated video recorder. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus having the first electric circuit board 14 which is disposed with a system controller 17 for controlling the entire part, the second electric circuit boards 6 and 7 having external input terminals 3 and 4 and are disposed with signal processing integrated circuits 52 and 53 and connecters 9 and 10 and cables 12 and 13 for electrically connecting the first and second electric circuit boards 14 and 6 and 7 to each other is provided with detecting means 26 and 25 for detecting whether external terminals are connected to the external input terminals 3 and 4 of the second electric circuit boards 6 and 7. The detection signals of the detecting means 26 and 25 are superposed on the output signals of the signal processing circuits 52 and 53 and are transmitted to the system controller 17 of the first electric circuit board 14.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a waveform reproducing characteristics and S/N ratio without increasing a limit recording frequency in a system recording and reproducing a video signal based on a FM modulation/demodulation system. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first waveform equalizing means 12 making shoot (pre-shoot) before a leading edge and a trailing edge of a video signal and suppressing shoot (over-shoot) following to a leading edge and trailing edge in either of a preceeding stage or a post stage of a pre- emphasis circuit 3, while the device is provided with a second wavedorm equalizing means 13 having a reverse characteristics to the first waveform equalizing means 12 in either of a preceeding stage or a post stage of a deemphasis circuit 8.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the use of an electronic apparatus from being interrupted by the malfunction by providing a display means, which detects and displays smoke and/or gas in the electronic apparatus, and an input means for response to this display. CONSTITUTION: In the abnormality detection and display device as an interactive fire accident preventing device which detects smoke and gas in or around a TV to turn off the power source, a display/control part 4 makes various required judgements based on signals from a gas detector 1, a smoke detector 2, and a normalcy button 17 and outputs a control signal to a power control circuit 18A in accordance with the judgement result. For example, if the gas detector 1 detects gas, a tube face display device 16 not only displays a message in a prescribed area on the screen of a cathode-ray tube display device by the signal from a comparator 11 but also starts a one-minute timer 15. A user sees this display to check the cause of gas, and if abnormality is not recognized, he depresses the normalcy button 17 within one minute. As the result, the timer 15 is reset, and a TV power source 21 is kept on.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To calibrate the clocks built in various AV machines collectively. CONSTITUTION: A standard clock 11 is built in a remote control signal transmitter 10. The standard clock 11 is connected with a microcomputer 12 generating a time calibration signal which is connected with a GPS receiver 13 and a television tuner 14. The GPS receiver 13 and the television tuner 14 provide time information and the standard clock 11 is calibrated periodically. The standard clock 11 is connected with an every minute reset signal generation circuit 16 and a reset signal generated therefrom is emitted as a remote control signal to AV machines from a remote control signal transmission circuit 18. Time setting clock built in the AV machines are calibrated by the remote control signal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To confirm a character to be displayed while being superimposed on an image just for desired time even in a pause mode. CONSTITUTION: The function of a pause button 15 of a remote commander 10 for remotely controlling a VTR 1 is additionally allocated to a pause button 45 of a remote commander 40 for remotely controlling a decoder 31. When the pause button 45 is operated, not only an infrared signal for turning the decoder 31 to a pause state is outputted but also an infrared signal for simultaneously turning the VTR 1 as well is outputted. When the decoder 31 is turned to the pause state, a character signal stored in an internal memory is repeatedly read and displayed on a monitor 51. Besides, since signal reproduced out of a video tape 3 of the VTR 1 becomes the video signal of the same frame, the image to be displayed on the monitor 51 is turned to the pause state.

CONSTITUTION:Magnetic core half bodies 1, 2 constituted by holding the main cores 3, 4 with a pair of the auxiliary cores 5, 6 and 7, 8 in their thickness direction are butted against each other and a magnetic gap g is formed between the main cores 3 and 4 butted against each other. Adhesive remaining grooves 11 are formed on the outer periphery of the magnetic core half bodies 1, 2 of the magnetic head.

PURPOSE:To improve the picture quality of a reproduced image by expanding the band of chroma data. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording/reproducing device separates video data into luminance data, and chroma data, performs the sampling of the relevant chroma data, addition processing with the luminance data and recording/ reproducing. The LPF 9 of a recording system 1 to which the chroma data subjected to sub-sampling are supplied is made to be a root roll-off characteristic and the LPF 25 of a reproducing system 2 to which reproduced chroma data are supplied is made to be a root roll-off characteristic. A HPF 26 to which the chroma data from the LPF 25 are supplied is made to be a characteristic for compensating the level-down related to data reproduction and the characteristics of LPF 9, LPF 25 and HPF 26 are adjusted so that the frequency characteristic of chroma data in the whole recording/reproducing systems becomes a cosine roll-off characteristic, respecively.

PURPOSE:To provide a general-purpose remote controller automatically setting a control code to various controlled object devices. CONSTITUTION:A remote control transmitter 56 is provided with a communication means with a controlled object device and a control function setting means setting a control function to the control object device based on control object device relation information obtained via the communication means, and the controlled object devices 27, 54, 55 are provided with communication means 28, 58, 59 connecting to the communication means of a remote control transmitter and a relevant device having an information transmitter means sending controlled object device relevant information required by the remote control transmitter via the communication means. When the remote control transmitter 56 and the controlled object device 27 desired for control thereby are coupled via the communication means, the relevant information relating to the device is sent from the controlled object device according to the prescribed communication procedure.
