    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of making edge trimming automatically irrespective of the thickness of sheet material. CONSTITUTION:An edge trimming device is provided with guide rollers for sheet material 12, 12a, a trim cutter 18 to cut the sheet material near its both ends along the running direction of the sheet material, a traverse cutter 19 which is provided in the downstream of the guide rollers and cuts an edge 12b cut by the trim cutter 18 in its lateral direction, and an air blowing device 24 to suck the cut edge 12b. A guide unit 23A which is provided with a slit through which compressed air is ejected at a constant angle of theta relative to the sheet material is provided between guide rollers and the air blowing device 24. Accordingly, the cut edge can be transferred to a suction box smoothly irrespective of the thickness of sheet material, and automation can be achieved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a uniformly coated face by blowing coating liquid on the surface of a sheetlike material in an atomizing state through an atomizing nozzle and smoothing the upper layer part of the coated layer with an air knife and regulating thickness of the coated layer to final coated thickness. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of atomizing nozzles 7 are arranged oppositely to the surface of a sheetlike material 1 in the width direction thereof. A coated layer is formed by blowing coating liquid 9 of 1-2 times of applying amount necessary for formation of the coated layer having final coated thickness on the surface of the sheetlike material 1 in an atomizing state through the nozzles 7. Then thickness of the coated layer is regulated to the final coated thickness by smoothing the upper layer part of the coated layer with an air knife 4 provided oppositely to the surface of the sheetlike material 1 in the downstream side from the position of the nozzles 7 for the running direction of the material 1. As a result, uniformly coated film free from deterioration of quality due to mixing of refuse, etc., can be formed without impairing the surface of the sheetlike material in noncontact.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to uniformly control the widthwise thickness ununiformity of respective layers of a laminated sheet-like material by a structure wherein auxiliary heating devices to heat flow paths locally and auxiliary cooling devices, which are provided near the auxiliary heating devices for cooling the auxiliary heating devices, are equipped. CONSTITUTION:Polymers, which are supplied from molten polymer supplying paths 11 and 12 in a composite extrusion die 1, are held at the predetermined temperature by means of a main heating device 2 and flow through flow paths 5 and 6 of polymer melts so as to be laminated to each other at a joining part 7 in order to be passed through a complex flow path 8, at which the whole widthwise thickness is controlled with adjusting bolts 10, and to be delivered from a slit-shaped opening 9 in the form of a laminated sheet. By operating the predetermined auxiliary heating devices 3 and auxiliary cooling devices 4, which are disposed in a widthwise row, in response to the widthwise thickness ununiformity of the delivered laminated sheet-like material, the widthwise thickness ununiformity of the desired layer can be adjusted without causing the abnormal stagnation of the polymer melt.

Therefore, the length of short links can be shortened, the radius of the sprocket can be increased, and the defined angle psi between the links 19a and 19b can be made smaller.

SOLUTION: The arm part of a substrate carrying hand 20 is composed of members A21, B22, C23, D24 and E25 joined in the vicinity of the outside of the peripheral edge part of a substrate 200 so as to be in parallel with the end sides thereof and match the size of the substrate. A substrate gripping member 40 is attached to the members A to C21 to 23, and grips both ends of each of substrate end sides 200A, B and C and three places in the center. Also, with respect to the substrate end side 200D, the substrate gripping members 40 are arranged in two places of each of the members D24 and E25. A gripping place is a substrate peripheral edge in the range of 0.25 L of both ends of the substrate end side of a length L. All the substrate gripping members 40 grip the substrate peripheral edge within 20 mm from the substrate end side. Thus, the generation of dry spots is limited in the very small area of the substrate peripheral edge.
