La présente invention concerne une installation pour le nettoyage et/ou le dégraissage de pièces manufacturées (P), laquelle installation (1) comprend des moyens d'application (4) comprenant, d'une part, au moins une première buse de sortie (30) raccordée aux moyens (10) de production de vapeur, pour l'application d'un jet central (5a) constitué par ladite vapeur d'eau sous pression et, d'autre part, au moins une seconde buse de sortie (32) entourant ladite ou lesdites premières buses (30), raccordée auxdits moyens (11) de production d'air sous pression, pour l'application d'un jet périphérique (5b) constitué par ledit air sous pression, de manière à projeter, sur lesdites pièces manufacturées (P), un jet de traitement (5) constitué, d'une part, dudit jet central (5a) constitué par ladite vapeur d'eau sous pression, et d'autre part, dudit jet périphérique (5b) constitué par ledit air sous pression, entourant ledit jet central (5a).
Abstract:
Liquid nebulizer apparatus, systems, and formulation compositions, as well as systems for the nebulized, aerosol delivery of such compositions, for the administration and insufflation of medicinal aerosols into the pulmonary system of a mammal are described. The nebulizing apparatus and system can effectively aerosolize a variety of viscosities of medicinal liquid drug carriers, including those made up of oil, water, or emulsions of oil and water. Drugs dissolved or suspended in the compositions and formulations described and adapted for use herein are not damages or denatured by the nebulization process when the nebulizer described is used. Further, the nebulization system itself can be adapted for use with both mechanically assisted pulmonary ventilation systems as well as hand-held inhalers and nose/mouth face masks for use in pulmonary drug delivery.

An applicator (1) has syringe outer tubes (21) having mouths formed projected at the forward ends of the syringe outer tubes, gaskets (24) inserted in the syringe outer tubes, and pushers (26) for moving the gaskets along the longitudinal direction of the syringe outer tubes. To use the applicator (1), a first syringe (2) and a second syringe (3) that are filled with liquid are placed in spaces formed by the syringe outer tubes (21) and the gaskets (24). The applicator (1) has an applicator body (7) where the first syringe (2) and the second syringe (3) arranged side by side and fixed, a gas flow path connected to gas supply means (300) for supplying gas and through which the gas from the gas supply means (300) passes, a nozzle (4) for discharging liquid having passed the mouth of the first syringe (2) and liquid having passed the mouth of the second syringe (3), an operation section (8) for pressing both the pusher of the first syringe and the pusher of the second syringe toward the forward ends, and open/close means (9) provided at the operation section (8) and closing and opening the gas flow path. The open/close means (9) operates to open the gas flow path in operative association with pressing operation by the operation section (8).

Multi-component liquid spray system including a shim having a first array of first passages and a second array of second passages are described. When the shim is positioned between the first and second die portions of a housing, a first array of first liquid conduits and a second array of second liquid conduits are formed. The first array of first liquid conduits and second array of second liquid conduits are aligned such that at least one of the second liquid conduits is interspersed between successive first liquid conduits. Methods of making such spray systems and methods of using them to produce both multi-component sprays and coated articles are also described.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein modular aufgebautes Düsensystem mit dessen Hilfe Tropfen aus Flüssigkeiten unterschiedlicher Viskosität erzeugt werden können. Kernstück: der Erfindung sind Mehrfachanordnungen von Einzeldüsen ohne bewegte Teile, die untereinander in Verbindung stehen und Einzelmodule bilden. Dieser Aufbau ermöglicht ein einfaches Erweitern und Anpassen des Systems wodurch eine maximale Flexibilität gewährleistet wird.

A self-contained, hand-held spray dispensing device includes an internal source of pressurized fluid that exerts a motive force on a pair of liquid ejecting elements to cause each to eject a liquid into a discharge line. The liquids remain separated until each exits its discharge port. A pressurized fluid is directed over the outlet ends of the discharge line beginning before a flow interrupter in the discharge line is opened to permit flow therethrough and ceasing after liquid flow is terminated. The pressurized fluid flow over the outlet of the discharge line aerosolizes liquids emanating from the outlet ends. Each liquid ejecting element takes the form of a piston disposed within a cylinder. The pistons responds to pressurized fluid imposed directly thereon from the source to generate the motive force on the ejecting element.

Es wird eine Zweistoffdüse angegeben mit einer Drallkammer (2), die eine Austrittsdüse (1) aufweist und in die eine Gaskanalanordnung (4, 5) am Umfang und eine Brennstoffkanalanordnung (9, 10) stirnseitig auf der der Austrittsdüse (1) gegenüberliegenden Seite münden, wobei die Drallkammer (2) zumindest im Bereich der Gaskanalanordnung (4, 5) einen kreisförmigen Querschnitt aufweist.Man möchte eine derartige Zweistoffdüse bei Brennstoffzellen verwenden können.Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß der Durchmesser der Drallkammer (2) um mindestens den Faktor 7 größer ist als der Durchmesser der Austrittsdüse (11).

Novel methods and devices which provide enhanced mixing, and application of two liquid components to form a biomaterial with minimized aerosols, are achieved using airflow rates below about 1.25 liters/minute in combination with a ratio of airflow to total liquid flow of from about 150:1 up to about 1500:1. Preferably the airflow is below about 1 liter/minute, and the ratio of airflow to total liquid flow is from about 200:1 to about 1200:1. The parameters are ideally suited for the spray application of components which form a surgical sealant, e.g., a fibrin sealant. Also a part of the present invention is novel application methods for biomaterial, e.g., surgical sealant, components at liquid flows below 1.9 ml/minute, novel methods involving the mixing of such components on the exit surface of a spray tip (14), or nozzle, novel spray tips (14), biomaterial applicators, and methods for making such applicators.
