    Abstract: PURPOSE: To specify the generating site of a migration in a short time by forming a protrusion protruding to an adjacent conductor, and providing a predetermined air gap between the opposite protrusions. CONSTITUTION: An electrode 1 is a comb type electrode, and the comb type electrode 10 made of a cathode side electrode 4 and an anode side electrode 6 is provided on a glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin board 2 having a thickness of 0.1 to 2mm. The electrodes 4 form cathode side conductors 41 each having predetermined width and length, a coupling conductor 4J and leads 4K, and the electrodes 6 form anode side conductors 6A to 6G, a coupling conductor 6H and leads 6I. Protrusions 20 protruding to the adjacent opposed conductor is formed on the superposed allowance (W) of each conductor. The protrusion 20 is provided at the opposed position. The protrusion 20 has a triangular shape, in which a bottom side H1 is 0.1 to 5mm, the height H2 is 2 to 20mm, and the distance G between the protrusions 20 is 0.1 to 1.5mm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for speeding up the measurement of insulation resistance even if an arithmetic means method is used to perform measurements a plurality of times, and conducting arithmetic mean of the results before outputting and for accurately and stably measuring even an ultra-high resistance. CONSTITUTION: In the measurement of insulation resistance using an arithmetic mean method, a measurement times N for arithmetic mean is minimized when the charging current at the initial stage of measurement is large, and also current change is large and the measurement times N for arithmetic mean is increased when the charge current decreases and exceeds a reference value where a measurement current value can be set, thus averaging noise components, and hence reducing a measurement time until the measurement current value reaches a reference value from the initial stage of measurement and speeding up measurement. Also, noise components can be averaged after the measurement current value exceeds the reference value and the measurement value becomes stable, thus achieving an accurate measurement regardless of an ultra-high insulation resistance where the measurement value becomes stable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To accurately measure humidity with good linearity and high sensitivity by eliminating a memory effect by a constitution wherein a polymer containing a nigrosine and a cellulose is used as a humidity-sensitive film. CONSTITUTION: A quartz vibration humidity sensor 1 is so constituted that electrodes 4 of gold or the like are vaporized on both faces of an AT-cut type quartz vibrator and a humidity-sensitive film 6 is formed on that. A polymer containing a cellulose as a hydrophilic compound and a nigrosine as a hydrophobic compound is used for the humidity-sensitive film 6. The nigrosine is of the hydrophilic compound used as a pigment represented by a specific chemical formula. The cellulose can be one represented by a specific chemical formula or its derivative, e.g. a fatty acid cellulose triester such as cellulose acetate, a mixture compound or an ethyl cellulose is used. The film having the ethyl cellulose and nigrosine causes a good result.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the concentration meter which is operated stably in an automatic operation and whose reliability is enhanced by a method wherein the difference between an electromotive force in a calibrating operation at a low concentration and that in a previous calibrating operation, a generated electromotive force per pX in a calibrating operation, the stability of an electromotive force in a calibrating operation at a highconcentration and the responsivity in the calibrating operation at the high concentration are established as a rule and a fuzzy operation is performed. CONSTITUTION:Electric signals from individual electrodes 2, 4, 6 in a measuring cell 8 are amplified by an analog amplifier, they are converted into digital signals by an A/D converter 100, and the digital signals are input to a control part 102 provided with a microcomputer. The control part 102 controls a driver circuit 104, and it performs a fuzzy operation in order to obtain the sensitivity of the electrodes, the date and time of a calibrating operation and the like. Then, four elements, i.e., the difference between an electromotive force in a calibrating operation at a low concentration and that in a previous calibrating operation, a generated electromotive force per pX in a calibrating operation, the stability of an electromotive force in a calibrating operation at a high concentration and the responsivity of the calibrating operation at the high concentration, are established as a rule, a fuzzy operation is performed, the present sensitivity of the electrodes is found, a period of time during which reliable data can be measured on the basis of the sensitivity is estimated, and the date and time of a next calibrating operation is set.

CONSTITUTION:A rotation support device 2 is provided to make a dirt evenly adhering to the surface of an insulator 1 with the rotation of a pilot insulator 1, a washing device 3 to wash away the dirt from a part of the surface in the pilot insulator 1 by washing water and a concentration measuring device to measure the concentration of the dirt washed away by the washing water. The pilot insulator 1 is turned through the rotation support device 2 except for the period of washing with the washing device 3 and measuring the concentration with the concentration measuring device.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To find a measurable position by avoiding opaque parts so as to reliably identify the kind of plastic used for an article to be inspected by irradiating the article with detecting light while the article is relatively moved to a position detector. CONSTITUTION:Plastic bottles 1 carried on a caterpillar belt 4 are irradiated with light from the irradiating section 3a of a position detector 3. When such opaque parts as labels, printed characters, etc., exist in the barrel sections of the bottles, the absorption spectrum effective to identifying the kind of the plastic used for the bottles 1 is not obtained. Therefore, an analyzer 6 confirms whether or not the received quantity of the light transmitted through the bottles 1 exceeds a preset prescribed value from light receiving signals from a light receiving section 3b. When the analyzer 6 confirms that the quantity of received light is larger than the prescribed value by a prescribed distance, the analyzer 6 decides the position as a discriminated position by judging that the kind of plastic can be identified by measuring the absorption spectrum of near infrared rays by means of the detector 5.

The constant-temperature equipment 7 keeps the atmosphere in the case 1 at a specified temperature, or constant temperature, so the detection of light emission reaction and emitted light quantity of a measured sample, introduced in the flaw-cell 2, with the photomultiplier tube 3, is done at a constant temperature, thus objective is attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for restoring a changed electrode potential of a pH measuring electrode using metal oxide or metal for sensitive film to an original potential condition in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Electrode potential-changed pH measuring electrodes 1-4 using iridium oxide for pH-sensitive film are electrically shortcircuitted by electrically connecting their leads 1a-4a to each other, and they are immersed in neutral phosphate solution 5 of pH 6.86 for about an hour. The pH-measuring electrodes of which electrode potential is changed can be restored almost to an original potential condition in a short time to be stabilized, so a very good efficiency is achieved, and because they can be restored to the potential condition where calibration can be performed sufficiently to be stabilized, thereby they can be reused without being wasted and disposed as defectives.
