표시품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 백라이트 유닛 및 이를 갖는 표시장치가 개시된다. 표시장치의 백라이트 유닛은 제1 및 제2 광원을 구비한다. 제1 광원은 다수의 파장대역의 제1 광을 발생하고, 제2 광원은 다수의 파장대역 중 하나 이상의 특정 파장대역에 속하는 제2 광을 발생하여 특정 파장대역의 광량을 증가시킨다. 표시장치의 표시패널은 백라이트 유닛으로부터 제1 및 제2 광을 제공받아 영상을 표시한다. 따라서, 표시장치를 통해 표시된 화면의 선명도 및 휘도를 향상시킬 수 있다.

인쇄설정의 변경이 자유로운 화상기록장치의 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 화상기록장치의 제어방법은, 입력된 인쇄데이터에 대응되는 화상을 인쇄하며 정지신호의 입력을 감시하는 단계와, 정지신호의 입력시 화상기록장치의 인쇄구동을 정지시키고 화상기록장치의 인쇄설정을 변경하는 단계와, 인쇄구동정지에 의해 인쇄되지 못한 나머지 인쇄데이터에 대응되는 화상을 변경된 인쇄설정을 반영하여 인쇄하는 단계를 포함한다. 이에 의하면, 화상기록장치의 인쇄구동과 무관하게 사용자가 원하는 시점에서 인쇄설정을 변경하고 변경된 인쇄설정을 인쇄구동에 반영시킬 수 있다.

Methods of forming high-density contacts are provided. An interlayer insulating layer and an auxiliary layer having interconnection line patterns are sequentially formed on a substrate in which a conductive region is formed. Next, a contact photoresist pattern having a bar-shaped pattern is formed on the auxiliary layer. The bar-shaped pattern is substantially orthogonal to the interconnection line pattern formed in the auxiliary layer. Then, the interlayer insulating layer is etched at a contact region using the contact photoresist pattern and the auxiliary layer having the interconnection line pattern therein as an etching mask. Subsequently, the interlayer insulating layer is etched using the auxiliary layer having the interconnection line pattern as an etching mask to form a contact hole that extends through the interlayer insulating layer to the conductive region and to form an interconnection groove in an upper portion of the interlayer insulating layer.

A multi-channel audio reproduction apparatus and method for loudspeaker reproduction using virtual sound images whose positions can be adjusted is provided. The multi-channel audio reproduction apparatus includes a virtual sound image forming unit for compensating for the occurrence of cross-talk in at least one input audio signal according to the arrangement of loudspeakers, obtaining transfer functions occurring when sound from a position in a three dimensional space is transmitted to both ears of a listener, and forming a plurality of first virtual sound images in a three dimensional space using the transfer functions. A controller generates adjusting factors for adjusting the position of at least one second virtual sound image. An output position adjustor controls the at least one audio signal, with respect to which the plurality of first virtual sound images are formed by the virtual sound image forming unit, with the adjusting factors generated by the controller and adjusts positions of the at least one second virtual sound image. An adder sums up left output related signals of the at least one audio signal with respect to which the position of the at least one second virtual sound image is adjusted, and sums up right output related signals of the at least one audio signal with respect to which the position of the at least one second virtual sound image is adjusted, to generate left and right audio signals for forming the at least one second virtual sound image.

PURPOSE: A gas injector of a chemical vapor deposition(CVD) apparatus is provided to improve a gap-fill capacity and deposition uniformity by installing a gas injector having the same length as a conventional gas injector wherein the diameter of the process gas spray part of the gas injector is smaller than that of the process gas inflow part of the gas injector. CONSTITUTION: A process chamber is prepared. A spray unit(150) sprays process gas on the upper portion of a wafer(140) placed on an electrostatic chuck(130), installed in the inner wall of the process chamber. The spray unit is composed of the first gas injector in which the diameter of the spray part is smaller than that of the inflow part to increase the pressure of the process gas.

PURPOSE: A semiconductor device having a shared contact and a method for fabricating the same are provided to enhance a processing margin by removing a spacer for forming an LDD(Lightly Doped Drain) region in a process of forming a shared contact region between a gate region and a lightly doped source/drain region. CONSTITUTION: A gate electrode is insulated from a substrate(10) by a gate insulating layer(103). An lightly doped source/drain region(109) is formed on the substrate(10) of both sides of the gate electrode. The gate electrode and the lightly doped source/drain region(109) are commonly connected with one shared contact which penetrates an interlayer dielectric(119) formed on an upper portion of the gate electrode. A part of the LDD region of the lightly doped source/drain region(109) is contacted with a region forming the shared contact. A spacer(112) is formed on a sidewall of the gate electrode in the region forming the shared contact. The spacer(112) has thickness less than the width of the LDD region. In addition, the spacer(112) is used for preventing a contact between the LDD region and the shared contact.

PURPOSE: A fabrication method of semiconductor devices is provided to simplify manufacturing processes and to prevent a lifting at edge portions of a wafer by easily removing residues in the edge portions and a bevel part using an SOG(Spin On Glass) film. CONSTITUTION: A stacked film(110) is formed on a wafer(100) including residues(130) at edge portions and a bevel part of the wafer(100). An SOG film(120) is coated on the stacked film(110), wherein the residues(130) are exposed. At this time, the SOG film(120) is coated by using polysiloxane or polysilazane as a chemical solution and baked at the temperature of 50-450°C. Then, the residues(130) remaining in the edge portions and the bevel part of the wafer(100) are removed by wet cleaning.

PURPOSE: A method and a system for an interactive moving picture advertisement by using a scalable technique are provided to display a moving picture simultaneous with downloading a moving picture bitstream by using a streaming technique, to offer a high quality moving picture advertisement to a user interested in advertising by using a scalable technique, and to control the transmission rate depending on the status of a network. CONSTITUTION: A document server(201) provides a document via a communication network(203) such as the Internet with response to the demand of a user(a web server). A streaming server(202) scalably multiplexes the data of a moving picture advertisement related with the document provided to the user from the document server and provides the data to a user computer via the communication network by using a streaming technique. A moving picture display unit(204) displays the document provided from the document server and the bitstream provided from the streaming server. When a user event occurs, the user event is transmitted to the streaming server in the command form. The command is the reference data to determine the inclusion of the video data of a basic array, the video data of an expansion array, or audio data.

PURPOSE: A chemical vapor deposition(CVD) apparatus is provided to uniformly apply supplied gas to the inside of a chamber, by installing a plurality of gas supply pipes in which reaction gas and cleaning gas are selectively supplied such that the gas supply pipes are vertically stacked. CONSTITUTION: A plasma reaction is performed in the chamber(100). An electrostatic chuck(120) is installed inside the chamber. A wafer is settled on the electrostatic chuck. The plurality of gas supply pipes are formed as a multilayered structure along the inner surface of the chamber so that the reaction gas for a deposition reaction and the cleaning are supplied to the inside of the chamber.
