Abstract: An ultrasonic wave distance sensor and a robot cleaner using the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost of the robot cleaner by reducing the number of the ultrasonic wave distance sensors for sensing an obstacle distance positioned in an upper part of the robot cleaner or a route in which the robot cleaner moves. A robot cleaner includes a body of an upper part(11) and a lower part(12) and a driving unit installed in the lower part of the body. A display unit displays the operation state of the robot cleaner.
