PURPOSE: A method for generating a file according to a free viewpoint AV service is provided to supply a file structure capable of configuring various AV scenes in one free viewpoint AV content. CONSTITUTION: A file header including contents-related information, AV(Audio/Video) object-related information, preset-related information or one or more preset information is generated(S610). One or more audio object information is generated(S620). One or more video object information is generated(S630). The file header, the audio object information and the video object information are processed in the preset format of one free viewpoint AV file(S640). The preset-related information includes one or more of the number information of constant preset or the number information of variable preset.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and device of reproducing sound field through a frontal loudspeaker array are provided to supply a more wide sweet spot a user at a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: A method and device of reproducing sound field through a frontal loudspeaker array are comprised of the steps: receiving a signal source and sound field reproduction information(702); calculating a speak driving signal of a front speak array based on sound field reproduction information(704); and reproducing a sound source as virtual arc array shape through the front speaker array according to the speaker driving signal(706).
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for generating a cubic sound field using synthesizing a sound field are provided to offer a wide listening space in a limit space by reproducing the cubic sound field by positioning a multi channel audio signal in a virtual sound image outside a narrow space by using a wave filed synthesis rendering. A cubic sound field reproducing device(200) includes an audio signal analyzing unit(210), a sound field synthesis rendering unit(220), and an audio reproducing unit(230). The audio signal analyzing unit analyzes the inputted multi channel audio signal, confirms the number of the channel of the audio signal, and extracts the sound source signal of the channel confirmed from the multi channel audio signal. A sound field synthesis rendering unit positions the sound source signal of the extracted channel in a virtual sound image of a narrow space by the sound field synthesis method to match the number of the channel of the confirmed audio signal. A reproducing unit reproduces a positioned virtual sound source signal.

A WFS(Wave Field Synthesis) reproduction method and an apparatus thereof are provided to utilize sound image localization information of a sound source extracted from a 5.1 channel signal or a stereo as a WFS input data. A WFS(Wave Field Synthesis) reproduction apparatus comprises an audio format channel signal input part(101), a BSS(Blind Source Separation) processing part(102), a power panning operation part(103), and a WFS rendering part(104). An audio signal according to a channel is inputted to the audio format channel signal input part. The BSS processing part extracts an object audio signal by pairing two channel signals among the audio signals. The power panning operation part obtains sound image localization information with the extracted object audio signal. The WFS rendering part outputs a driving signal to a loudspeaker array.

An apparatus and a method for reproducing a surround sound field for reproducing reflection provide presence and a space sense to a listener by reproducing the reflection by a panning scheme or reproducing corresponding reflection by using respective loudspeaker. The information for reproducing the reflection is inputted to an input unit(810). A signal processor(820) selects the loudspeaker for applying the panning mode based on the information for reproducing the reflection and produces a refection signal. A signal processing unit(830) localizes the produced reflection signal to a virtual sound image according to the panning mode. A reproducing unit(840) reproduces the localized reflection signal through the selected loudspeaker.

An object-based audio service is provided to improve the service functions, and easily access to the audio contents. An audio encoding apparatus(500) receives a plurality of audio objects comprising the audio content, and produces a plurality of frames about each object(500-502). The audio encoding apparatus groups the produced plurality of frames by playout time, and generates the corresponding index according to the frame group(506). Then, the audio encoding apparatus stores the grouped frames as an object data, stores the corresponding index information to the header, and produces multiple object audio contents(508).

Abstract:
An object-based 3-dimensional audio service providing system and method using preset audio scenes are provided to offer previously generated preset audio scenes to users such that the users do not personally control audio signals and easily use object-based audio service. A 3-dimensional audio service providing system includes an audio input unit(31), an audio scene generator(32), an encoder(33), and a transmitter(34). The audio input unit receives an audio signal. The audio scene generator extracts object audio signals from the received audio signal, arranges the extracted object audio signals in a 3-dimensional space, and edits attributes of the object audio signals to generate at least one 3-dimensional audio scene. An encoder encodes the audio signal and the 3-dimensional audio scene. The transmitter converts the encoded object-based 3-dimensional audio scene according to a transmission format and transmits the object-based 3-dimensional audio scene to an audio playing terminal(40) through a digital broadcasting network(50).
