Abstract: 광이득 제어부 및 전기이득 제어부를 포함하는 가시광 무선통신 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 가시광 무선통신 방법은 가시광 무선통신 송신기에서 송신된 신호를 광 조리개를 통과하여 수광 및 광/전 변환부에서 수신하는 단계; 상기 수광 및 광/전 변환부 출력값이 선형구간 임계범위내에 속하는지 판단하여 광이득 제어부에서 상기 수광 및 광/전 변환부 출력값의 광이득을 조절하는 단계; 상기 광이득이 조절된 수광 및 광/전 변환부 출력값을 상기 수광 및 광/전 변환부에서 전기적 신호로 변환하는 단계; 상기 변환된 전기적 신호의 ADC(Analog to Digital Conversion) 입력값이 최적 입력범위 내에 속하는지 판단하여 상기 ADC 입력값이 최적 입력범위에 속하도록 전기이득 제어부에서 상기 ADC 입력 값의 전기이득을 조절하는 단계; 및 상기 전기이득이 조절된 ADC 입력 값을 ADC를 이용하여 디지털 신호로 변환한 후 디지털 수신신호 처리부로 전달하여 신호를 처리하는 단계를 포함한다.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for demodulating visible light communication data modulated in a VPPM method are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for demodulating visible light communication data comprises the steps of: generating sampling signals by receiving and sampling visible light communication signals modulated in a VPPM method; comparing a preset threshold with a first sampling signal among the sampling signals; setting an initial rise flag to a first level when the first sampling signal is larger than the preset threshold and setting the initial rise flag to a second level when the first sampling signal is smaller than the preset threshold; generating an accumulated sample value by accumulating the sampling signals increasing a sample count value; comparing the accumulated sample value with a value in which the threshold is multiplied by the sample count value; making a first bit data into demodulation data, if the initial rise flag is at the second level, when the accumulated sample value is larger than the value in which the threshold is multiplied by the sample count value; and making a second bit data into demodulation data, if the initial rise flag is at the first level, when the accumulated sample value is smaller than the value in which the threshold is multiplied by the sample count value.
