Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of producing extension harness in electrical equipment design of a vehicle is provided to produce sub-harness information according to exact specification distribution from standard hardness, in connection with a specification to which a design model by each section is applied according to a layout of the vehicle in vehicle product specification. CONSTITUTION: A method of producing extension harness in electrical equipment design of a vehicle includes steps of producing electric equipment specification from vehicle product a specification and registering the electric equipment specification to database(S100); outputting harness information of the kind of the vehicle from the database to define sub/extension harness by each section(S200); selecting harness of a specific section from the output harness information, defining the sub/extension name, and re-defining predefined sub/extension harness specification conditions(S300,S400); removing the re-defined sub/extension harness information of the database and registering main harness and the sub/extension harness information to database(S500); and retrieving harness information matching with the specification from the database, matching harness product information from the retrieved harness information, and designing sub/extension harness(S600).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A piston diameter measuring apparatus is provided to precisely and conveniently measure the diameter of the piston by measuring the diameter of the piston after fixing the piston. CONSTITUTION: A piston diameter measuring apparatus includes a fixing jig(10), on which a piston(3) is placed. A cover(20) is slidably coupled to the fixing jig(10) in such a manner that the height of the cover(20) is adjustable along the fixing jig(10). The cover(20) supports a dial gauge(40). A piston fixing bolt(30) is provided to fix the piston(3). A diameter of the piston(3) is measured by the dial gauge(40). CONSTITUTION: A direct injection engine is composed of a cylinder head in which a direct port and helical port are formed, a cylinder block, and an oil fan containing the engine oil. The direct injection engine is arranged between the direct and the helical port. An injector is horizontally inclined toward the helical port and vertically downward inclined toward the piston head. A notch portion(42) provides the swirl flow in the fuel injected from the injector(30). Abstract: PURPOSE: A flow optimizing exhaust manifold of an internal combustion engine is provided to optimize flow of exhaust gas by streamlining runner pipes of an exhaust manifold and to reduce the amount of exhaust gas by decreasing thermal loss of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: In an exhaust manifold(20), specific parts(L) of runner pipes(22-25) communicated with cylinders and bent for connection with a mixing pipe(26) are streamlined. According to the streamlined shape of the runner pipes, exhaust gas flowing through the runner pipes is prevented from colliding against the wall of the mixing pipe. Therefore, thermal loss is avoided. As connecting parts of the runner pipes are directly connected to the mixing pipe, the exhaust gas passes with a uniform flow. Thus, the exhaust gas is supplied to a catalyst in a uniformly diffused state and the cleaning efficiency of the exhaust gas is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An ignition plug is provided to increase a combustion efficiency, not to have an influence on a flow of a mixer, and to have an excellent exhaust effect by making an upper surface of a combustion chamber and a lower end of an ignition plug correspond with each other when the ignition plug is mounted on a cylinder head. Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust manifold for gasoline engine is provided to significantly reduce discharge quantity of hazardous substance and achieve an improved purification capacity of the catalyzer by changing configuration of runner pipe guiding the exhaust gas from an engine to a mixing pipe and a connecting angle between the runner pipe and the mixing pipe. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust manifold comprising first to fourth runner pipes(11-14) communicated to a cylinder of an engine, and a mixing pipe(6) coupled with the first to fourth runner pipes(11-14), the mixing pipe(6) and the runner pipes(11-14) being formed integrally, wherein the first to fourth runner pipes have intermediate portions, respectively, which are bent in streamline shape downwardly to a center so that the portions for connecting the first to fourth runner pipes(11-14) can be nearly levelled with the mixing pipe. As a result, an exhaust gas flowing to the mixing pipe through each runner pipe has further reduced collision against a wall surface of the mixing pipe, thus reducing significantly a thermal loss of the exhaust gas.
