    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the passing velocity of dust particles in an electret filter and to enhance the collection efficiency of dust particles in the electret filter by integrating both a net made of resin and the electret filter and thereafter corrugating this integrated body into a filter unit and equipping this corrugated filter unit to the downstream side of a charge part so as to cross an air passage. CONSTITUTION:A charge part 9 constituted of discharge wires 10, parallel lamellate electrodes 11 and a DC high-voltage power source 12 is provided to the upstream side for the flow of air. Furthermore, a filter unit 14 described hereunder is equipped to the downstream side of the charge part 9 so as to cross an air passage. The filter unit 14 is obtained by integrating both the nets 16, 17 made of rigid resin and an electret filter 15 and thereafter corrugating this integrated body. Thereby the effective area of the electret filter 15 is enhanced and the velocity of air passed through the electret filter is lowered. Thereby pressure drop is deteriorated and collection efficiency is raised and the service life is prolonged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To know filter replacement timing earlier by installing an electret filter rolling apparatus, an operational hour determining means, and a replacement timing displaying means. CONSTITUTION:An electret filter 6 is placed in a wavy shape by guide rolls 10, 11 so as to have a wide filtering surface area. So that, the passing speed of charged particles 17' through the electret filter 6 becomes low and it takes a long time for the charged particles 17' to pass through the electret filter 6, resulting in improved capturing efficiency. A pressure loss by the electret filter 6 is lowered. Moreover, the renewal timing of the electret filter 6 is controlled by a timer 12 and by the renewal of the filter at every prescribed operational hour T1, the good capturing efficiency is continuously maintained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve dust collecting efficiency by providing an air cleaner with a discharge part, an electret filter arranged in the form of a wave and its take-up device and with a specific means for actuating the take-up device when the number of revolutions of an air suction fan reaches a controlled number. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch is turned on, positive high voltage is applied to high-tension discharge wire 2 to form an ionization zone. Of all the particles drawn in the air cleaner and suspended in the air, the fine particles 18 which have passed through a prefilter 16, upon passage through the ionization zone, are charged positively into the charged particles 19, which, when approaching an electret filter 6, are attracted to the negative side of this filter 6 for collection, resulting in a gradual increase in the pressure loss of the filter 6 and in an increase in the number of revolutions of an air suction fan 13. This number of revolutions is measured by a revolution indicator 12 and, when it reaches the controlled number, a revolution number judging means 14 actuates a motor 9 to start its operation, whereby, from a supply roll 8, the filter 6 travels through guide rolls 10 and 11 in the form of a wave onto a take-up roll 7 to be wound thereon. When the filter is rolled up on the take-up roll to a predetermined amount, the motor 9 is stopped.

CONSTITUTION:Discharge wires 2, earthed metallic plates 3 as counter electrodes and a high voltage power source 4 impressing high voltage on the wires 2 are arranged at the upper stream side of an air passage and an electret filter 6 and a filter winder 7 at the downstream side. The filter 7 is placed in a wave shape so as to intersect the air passage. Pressure drop is reduced and capturing efficiency can be increased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a refrigerator with a defrosting chamber, capable of obtaining excellent defrosting quality, reduced in the unevenness of defrosting, within a short period of time, by a method where in the temperature rise of a matter to be defrosted is controlled by heating the upper surface of the matter to be defrosted by an infrared ray beater and heating the bottom surface of the same by a heater while the supplying power to respective heaters are changed in accordance with a time and a temperature. CONSTITUTION: When 20 W is required upon 100% excitation of a heater 18, or example, and the temperature of a thermistor 21 has arrived at a control temperature, the input of the heater 18 is controlled so as to retain the temperature of the thermistor 21 by controlling the conducting angle of a bidirectional thyristor 21. On the other hand, when a control time, inputted previously into the ROM of the control device 22, has coincided with a time from the starting of defrosting, the conducting angle of the bidirectional thyristor 21 is controlled where by the input of infrared ray heater is controlled. Accordingly, the defrosting of the frozen food 19 is effected slowly and uniformly without causing any variety in defrosting at a low temperature wholely while the defrosting period of time can be reduced remarkably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a refrigerator with a defrosting device, capable of making a defrosting period of time constant, by a method wherein the temperature reduction rate of a tray is measured by a temperature detector to decide a defrosting capacity based on the result of the measurement and a heat generating body is controlled by a signal from a heating temperature pattern deciding means to defrost automatically with the optimum heating temperature pattern. CONSTITUTION: When a frozen food 19 to be defrosted is put on the central part of an aluminum tray 20 in a defrosting chamber 4 and a defrosting operation switch is thrown, the descending of temperature of the aluminum tray 20 is started. When the temperature is lowered to a value lower than a defrosting capacity decision finishing temperature, the measurement is stopped and a time value at that time is stored. A correlation between the time value and a defrosting capacity is obtained previously while the patterns of heating temperature of respective heaters 16, 18, compatible to the defrosting capacity, are set previously. The defrosting capacity is decided and heating temperature patterns thereafter are controlled in accordance with the previously set heating temperature patterns. The inputs of respective heaters are controlled by a heating body driving means 26 to defrost the food. Accordingly, the food can be defrosted within a given defrosting period of time even when the defrosting capacity is changed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To perform an automatic defrosting in compliance with an amount of frozen food by a method wherein a rate of descending temperature of a tray having the frozen food mounted thereon is measured, a defrosting capacity is determined, a defrosting time is decided in compliance with the determined capacity and an energization time for a heating member is controlled. CONSTITUTION: Frozen food 19 to be defrosted is taken out of a freezing chamber 2 and mounted at the center of an aluminum tray 20 of a defrosting chamber 4. A temperature of the food 19 is detected by a temperature sensor 21, a rate of decreasing in temperature of the tray 20 is calculated by a measuring means 23 based on the detected signal and then a defrosting capacity of the frozen food 19 is determined by a determining means 24. Then, a deciding means 25 decides a defrosting time corresponding to the determined defrosting capacity and controls an electrical energization time for a far-infrared ray heater 16 and a heater 18 through a heater driving means 26. In this way, it is not necessary for an operator to set a defrosting time, an appropriate defrosting time is always automatically set in reference to a defrosting capacity, an operating property can be substantially improved and at the same time the most suitable defrosting can be carried out.
