Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing protein by filamentous fungi with which it is possible to suppress a decrease in the degree of dissolved oxygen saturation during culturing, even when the culturing of filamentous fungi is scaled up. This method for producing protein comprises culturing a BXL1-gene-disrupted Trichoderma fungus by employing, as an inducer, a biomass including cellulose and xylan. By using a BXL1-gene-disrupted Trichoderma fungus, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the degree of dissolved oxygen saturation, even when xylose and cellulose are employed as an inducer.

[Solution] This filter device comprises: one or a connected plurality of first units, each comprising a first separation membrane part that separates a liquid to be treated in a first storage tank into a first filtered liquid and a first non-filtered liquid, a first takeout tube that takes out the first non-filtered liquid, a first adjustment unit that keeps the flow rate of the first filtered liquid substantially constant, and a first liquid level meter that detects the liquid level in the first storage tank; a second unit comprising a second separation membrane that separates a storage liquid in a second storage tank in which the first filtered liquid is accumulated into a second filtered liquid and a second non-filtered liquid, a second takeout tube that takes out the second non-filtered liquid, a second adjustment unit that keeps the flow rate of the second filtered liquid substantially constant, and a second liquid level meter that detects the liquid level in the second storage tank; a first control unit that controls the liquid level in the first storage tank on the basis of a measurement value from two connected first units, or a measurement value from a connected first unit and second unit; and a second control unit that controls the liquid level in the second storage tank on the basis of a measurement value from the second unit.

Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a method for producing a sugar liquid by repeating a sugar liquid production process comprising the Steps (1) to (3) below: (1) the step of adding a filamentous fungus-derived cellulase to cellulose to perform primary hydrolysis; (2) the step of adding a fresh filamentous fungus-derived cellulase to the hydrolysate in Step (1) to perform secondary hydrolysis; and (3) the step of subjecting the hydrolysate in Step (2) to solid-liquid separation to obtain a sugar liquid, from which a recovered enzyme is obtained; wherein the recovered enzyme obtained in Step (3) is used for Step (1) of the next and later sugar liquid production processes. By this, the present invention provides a method for reducing the amount of enzyme used, such as cellulase, in a method for producing a sugar liquid from pretreated cellulose.
