Abstract: A door closing apparatus for closing a hinged door (21) comprises a housing (10), a shaft (11) extending substantially along a longitudinal axis of the housing and being rotatably mounted therein. A connecting arm (22) is mounted at one end of the shaft (11) and extends transversely thereto. The other end of the connecting arm (22) is adapted to cooperate with a guide track (24), which is formed on the lower end surface of the door, so that the shaft (22) is moved from a first to a second rotational position, when the door is moved from an open to a closed position.
