Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact the whole device in a braking device for applying the brake to the movement of a door. SOLUTION: A hollow shaft 14 is rotatably inserted through a body 7 storing a brake fluid. A spiral rod 8 is inserted in the hollow shaft 14, and the hollow shaft and the spiral rod are screw-engaged. An outer surface of the hollow shaft 14 is provided with a resistor 20 located in the brake fluid. The body 7 is fixed to an opening frame, and the spiral rod 8 is fixed to the door. When the door is opened/closed, the spiral rod 8 is linearly reciprocated in an axial direction. This motion is converted into rotary motion of the hollow shaft 14, and the hollow shaft rotates in a speed reduced state to apply the brake to the movement of the door. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
A door operator for a vehicle wherein resilient means couples the drive arm to the door to control the force applied by the door operator throughout the door closing cycle. The operator is compact and mountable in the side wall of the vehicle above the floor and includes an independent locking system, together with an emergency opening assembly.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'amortissement d'un ouvrant (1) de véhicule militaire lors de sa fermeture et de son ouverture, ledit ouvrant étant solidaire de gonds (3) articulés par rapport à une interface (2). Ce dispositif comprend un corps tubulaire (5) solidaire des gonds et articulé entre deux paliers (4) solidaires de l'interface, ledit corps (5) renfermant deux moyens d'amortissement fixes (6, 7) entre lesquels une tige (8) est interposée, ladite tige (8) étant mobile en translation pour actionner un (6) des moyens d'amortissement lors de l'ouverture de l'ouvrant et l'autre moyen (7) d'amortissement lors de la fermeture de l'ouvrant. La tige (8) est solidaire en rotation du corps tubulaire (5) et est reliée au corps tubulaire (5) à l'aide d'une vis (9) à téton long. La tige (8) est munie d'une rainure hélicoïdale (22) dans laquelle un doigt (10) solidaire de l'interface (2) est engagé afin de lui imprimer un mouvement en translation.
Abstract:
The cylinder (11) actuating the longitudinal guide (5) for sliding the doors (1) actuates said guide with the aid of a C-shaped arm (12) that is integral with the cylinder and hingedly connected to a second arm (14) which is in turn hingedly connected to the guide (5). An articulated rod (16) is hingedly connected to the end of said C-shaped arm (12). Said rod rotates on a shaft (15) to which it conveys a rotational movement during actuation of the cylinder (11). The shaft is in turn designed to transmit said rotational movement generated by the cylinder to the blocking and safety means that keep the doors in embedded or closed position.
