Abstract:
A device (9), for the evaluation and training of the articular mobility of the ankle, comprises a plate (4) for supporting the foot/feet of a user, which may be oscillated about at least one axis of rotation and is provided with an upper plane (6), and a fixed support (16), able to oscillatably support the plate (4) with respect to a support plane (P), where the plate (4) in turn includes at least one contact member (10), adapted to support oscillatably the plate with respect to the fixed support (16), a toothed sector (18), movable integrally with this contact member (10) and having the teeth facing the plate (4), a gear member (20), which meshes with the toothed sector (18), and a gearmotor (22), connected to the gear member (20).
Abstract:
A device for evaluating and training ankle joint mobility has a plate for supporting a user's a foot or feet, the plate being oscillatable about at least one axis of rotation and provided with an upper support plane, and a fixed support, configured to oscillatably support the plate with respect to a support surface. The plate has at least one contact member configured to oscillatably support the plate with respect to the fixed support, a toothed sector, integrally movable with the at least one contact member and having teeth facing the plate, a gear member meshing with the toothed sector, and a gearmotor connected to the gear member.
Abstract:
A device with a balance plate, particularly for the assessment and training of the equilibrium capacity and disequilibrium management and for the evaluation, training and rehabilitation of the proprioceptive sensitivity and reflexes, comprises a plate (2) rocking about at least one axis of rotation and having an upper surface (4) for supporting the user's feet, and a transducer (26, 27) for converting the angular position of the plate relative to the horizontal into an electrical signal indicative of the user's reactions, characterised in that the rocking plate (2) has at least one member (8, 10, 10b) for contacting a fixed support (16), the contact member having a profile (12, 14, 14b) for contact with the support such that the instantaneous centre of rotation of the plate is movable in space along a predetermined plane located above the upper support surface (4) in dependence on the instantaneous angular position of the rocking plate relative to the fixed support (16).
