    Abstract: The disclosed supporting system is designed for use with any closet system containing a sliding door and bottom row of two or more drawers. The components of this system transfer the weight of the sliding door and of the upper compartments of the closet to the floor. The system comprises of two outer supporting braces attached to the closet's inners side walls, at least one inner brace attached the drawer divider, and a metal profile attached along the front edge of the shelf above the drawers, reaching the closet's sliding doors' rail. The lower part of each brace is situated on the floor and the upper end of an outer brace supports the shelf above the drawer, while the upper end of an inner brace connects to the lower end of the metal profile.

    Abstract: An automated coupling mechanism for sliding doors that are movably mounted upon a storage unit. The coupling mechanism may comprise a rotating mechanism comprising a rotating member, and connecting unit. The storage unit may comprise at least one outer sliding door and at least one inner sliding door comprising an upper track, where the connecting unit connect the rotating mechanism to the outer sliding door. The rotating member and the track may be made from material of substantially high friction coefficient to enable the rotating member to move the inner sliding door along the track when rotated. The connecting unit, which are connect the rotating mechanism to the outer sliding door, may enable the outer sliding door to move in the opposite direction of the inner sliding door, whereby the inner sliding door is moved by the rotating mechanism as a physical counteraction.

    Abstract: Presented herein is a novel sliding door system that that enables adjustment of at least two sliding doors relative to each other such that surfaces of the sliding doors create a substantially flush surface a support onto which the sliding door mechanism is mounted. The system includes at least one inner and outer sliding door slidably coupled to corresponding guide rails. The guide rail that is coupled to the outer sliding door is selectably moveable by a sliding door mechanism between a first and a second position. In the first position, a user can slide outer and inner sliding doors along said guide rails, whereas in the second position, a surface of the outer sliding door is substantially flush with a surface of said inner sliding door.

    Abstract: A system of ejecting a sliding door of a closet, comprising a plurality of ejection assemblies and a connecting mechanism, which connects one assembly to the other. Each ejection assembly comprises a rail and a slidable member configured to slide along the rail, where the rail engages with a frame of the closet. The connecting mechanism allows synchronizing the ejection force applied upon the door at different locations of the door, by connecting the ejection assemblies through the connecting mechanism. This configuration allows ejecting and retrieving of the door outwardly and inwardly by sliding the slidable member of each assembly along the rail.
